The @nypost wrote a really informative article on this whole Amazon delivery thing being pushed by Zohran Mamdani and how much it would hurt small businesses, etc. If you care about this subject, it's a must read.

Bill Maher read the DSA platform to a Los Angeles studio audience and they GASPED OUT LOUD.
Shocked by their own party's platform.

Last week, my mom got a "pied-a-terre" tax notice. She has lived full-time in her townhouse FOR 30 YEARS (she and my dad bought it for under $1 million). She has no other residence.
Is NYC not bothering with basic checking of its own tax lists?
She's 81 and has three weeks to get her name off the list or she owes $56,000. (Yes, I said I'd help.)
Thanks, Zohran Kwame.

The post and all the replies are total horse crap and Ignorant journalism
30% of seniors (the poorest) on Medicare already get all their drugs free or with a nominal co-pay. The end of this failed Biden/Harris temporary program to try to buy votes in 2024 affects the top 70% and simply restores Medicare Part D to the way it was in 2024, 2023, 2022... 2006.
Most of the 70% could get a SPAP but most won't bother because of the $2K MOOP and the fact that they only spend a few hundred dollars a year OOP on drugs
On average premiums might go up $25... A YEAR

Here's what 100% will happen, bookmark this:
>Gov subsidized grocery stores open at 30% lower prices
>Local grocery stores cannot compete
>They go out of business
>City store becomes the only option
>No competition
>The "food desert" they set out to fix is now worse
>Demand is high, supply is low
>Empty shelves become the norm
>City responds the only way it can: purchase limits "2 per customer"
>Rationing occurs
>A rush every day, hoarding, lines
>To control the bleeding, the city quietly shrinks the basket or lets quality slide
>Wilted produce, thinner cuts, fewer options
>Budget balloons anyway, because the subsidy never shrinks, only grows

Billionaires are only billionaires based on a valuation of companies they've invested in. It's not like Bezos is sitting on a billion in liquid assets.
What do you think the result is going to be when Bezos is forced to divest 7B from the companies that rely on that investment?

Tim Walz thinks that calling people names like white supremacists will stop the investigations.
Call me any name you want, but you won’t ever be able to call me a lying thief who supported Somalian Fraudsters who STOLE $9 Billion in tax $ like Tim Walz did.
