I know we haven't done or said too much in a while, but I promise there are a lot of awesome people hard at work making very nerdy songs for you. It might look calm, but we're kicking our little legs as fast as we can. We'll share a bit more about what we're doing very soon. <3

I still want to share things & support my friends & communities on here, but dang is Twitter dark/depressing sometimes. I don’t want to doomscroll anymore, but also feel guilty about the idea of muting important topics, because I don’t want to be out of touch or feel apathetic. – at Los Angeles, CA

I need all my homies to love and appreciate their own work regardless of social media beliefs and not let their worth be defined by social media engagement 🥰🥰

A reminder everyone: People have begun seeing the first episodes of #TheLegendofVoxMachina today. So if you're one of the first, please use #LVMSpoilers for any discussion. If your not gonna see it until later tread carefully! There's only so much that can be done!

Seriously, ya'll. Our art director is looking to expand our pool of artists, so if you're doing Afrofuturism or Afropunk, please link us your portfolio. We promise she'll see it.

*Trying to come up with a melody*
Me: "Damn, this one seems to work really well, it's practically writing itself!"
Brain: "Of course it is you worthless muppet...you're pretty much playing the Shire theme from LOTR."
Sometimes it do be like that...

Why are my troll comments the tweets that take off and whenever I'm like 'hey, if you're a starting composer and need help picking out gear, email me and I'll lend a hand', no dice! 😂

My guest is @TheSkaldDM and not only do we have a great conversation about music and D&D, but we get to talk about his new album (dropping Thursday!), and premier a song.

So - completely hypothetically of course - if we were to do another Critical Concert, who would you want to hear from? I'll start - who am I missing?

Still processing this weekend. The #CriticalConcert made some good music, made some new friends, and raised well over $7000 (USD) for Amnesty International. I feel so fortunate to be part of such a wholesome and generous community, and I very much hope this is a start, not an end
