Some of the discourse around the #SAGstrike reminds me of an assumption about actors that I've come across for most of my life. Many people seem to assume that there are ONLY TWO kinds of actors:
1. Wildly famous, rich celebrities
2. Failed pretenders who are actually servers 1/

We do refer to the second floor as 'lift floor one' when riding the elevator. The basement is 'the scullery' and sub basement levels are appended with Roman numerals e.g. 'the scullery VI' is the seventh level below 'lift floor one'. Essential for riding the London Underground.
I participated in the 1997 strike against UPS, and I support this one.
