This animation was trickier than anticipated. I tried a number of tools, including @figma prototypes, but ended up using @createwithflow for it.
The anchor point scaling and before and after animation workflow made it easy, although my M1 Air really chugged with the render.

After Effects feels like it is to product animation as Photoshop was to web design. Not at all the right tool for the job, and in fact overkill for the needs, but for a long time the only tool we had. The world has shifted since then.

I’ve been spending time with @createwithflow the last few days. They bring up a good point that after effects is best suited for video/frames. Flow is designed to create an animation that can be easily exported to devs for product dev.
