Research shows us that students demonstrate mastery as a result of instruction, practice, feedback, reflection and then, assessment. Domain 3 of the CPS CBE Framework details the importance of "Equitable Assessment & Demonstration of Proficiency" @ChiPubSchools
Domain 2 of our Framework reflects the practice of consistent feedback/reflection/practice loops in PBL classrooms. Students & teachers use data to determine the best learning plan for each student. The focus is on students actually using their knowledge and skills.
