The easiest thing to do here is not to comment. But those in the middle of this repeated shaming cannot comment. So I will. Maybe I'll regret it. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cgje…

This is the new board of Qualifications Scotland. Teachers do you think they represent you? Not one single classroom teacher on @sqanews board. Notice anything else?

My opinion is that Turn and Talk is the single most over-used and over-rated teaching strategy doing the rounds right now. Tune in to hear Craig's thoughts, and drop yours in the replies - does Turn and Talk suck? 👇 👇

The vertical whiteboards and "productive buzz" of Building Thinking Classrooms (BTC) are sweeping through schools, but engagement is not achievement. Experts like @rastokke , @MrZachG , and @greg_ashman are sounding the alarm that we are trading mathematical mastery for a classroom aesthetic. The shift toward "de-fronting" the classroom often ignores Cognitive Load Theory, leaving novice learners to flounder in unproductive struggle while major publishers drive implementation ahead of the scientific evidence. Success breeds engagement, not the other way around. If we want students to love math, we must ensure they are actually competent at it. I am calling on the Scottish Government to mark the @ScotlandNT's success with a bank holiday on the day of their opening @FIFAWorldCup match. What better way to bring the country together and ensure that as many people as possible have the chance to watch it? 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Been a while since I created any history resources. Turning my attention to the slave trade. Starting with these two.
