.@RJonesNews on news today “our responsibility is to inform the public. The goal is how do we deliver the information that may get to people who are looking for context and perspective?”
.@RJonesNews on how to combat the lack of context on the internet “we need to be the light in the darkness. We need to make sure people have access to credible information in the platforms they’re gravitating towards to. I think it’s more effective to meet people where they are”
.@RJonesNews on the use of AI in news “I think about the opportunities and efficiencies. How can we use the technology to create more trusted content? How can we use the technology to reach places where people don’t have access to information?”
.@RJonesNews “I think we sometimes undervalue the power of passion. If it’s meant to be, it’s meant to be.” On what has driven her ambition and career. Watch the full interview here: youtube.com/live/QhKmqhb6eeU…
.@RJonesNews on mentors “mentors serve different purposes and different instances. Barbara Sierra helped me get my first job and develop my writing. She was consequential in helping me hold my craft and understand the value of being present, raising my hand”
.@RJonesNews “I pick mentors all the time. They remind me to pursue my passion, to be curious, to be a good person. Those relationships are so important. I also try to mentor a good amount myself. For every mentor that you pick, make sure that you also give back”
