At the @iiea today, EU sanctions chief David O'Sullivan was asked about our investigation into Aughinish Alumina. He said Irish alumina “undoubtedly” ended up supplying, at least in part, the Russia's military. “I think there's no doubt the investigative journalists got it right”

Far-right & extreme Left consistently team up in favour of Russian interests, against EU. Today @Europarl_EN condemned Russian strikes in the EU, particularly Black Sea shipping. Who opposed? Far-right ESN (AfD etc) Who abstained? Far-right Patriots (RN etc) & most Left MEPs 1/

I really like this shot of him. He’s like a walking talking baby Voldemort, the façade stripped bare and his rotten depraved core exposed for posterity.

Trump: We were in the midst of negotiating and a lot of stupid people said why aren’t you putting Russian sanctions— Collins: But you said you didn’t give anything for his release Trump: If I didn’t do that, you wouldn’t have him coming back. Collins: So you did give something. Trump: You don’t know anything. You’re fake news CNN. Collins: You’re saying you lifted the sanctions in exchange for his release? Trump: You don’t know what you’re talking about. You’re a low IQ person. You’re a dummy.

We are past the point of political disagreement. We are witnessing a catastrophic collision between unchecked narcissism and obvious neurological decay. It is the most dangerous intersection in American history: a man with the absolute power of the Presidency and the absolute cognitive failure of a person no longer tethered to reality.

Things go from bad to worse. Trump 🇺🇸 seems to regret that 🇷🇺 didn’t conquer 🇺🇦 immediately, and blame the failure on some incompetent 🇷🇺 general. Who feeds him this strange stuff? Or does he just invent it because he wishes it was so?

Russian tanks did use highways to Kyiv in 2022 and took heavy losses. The main reason the 40-mile convoy failed was it lacked fuel and food. Ukraine blew bridges, flooded the Irpin, and ambushed columns. nbcpalmsprings.com/2025/08/15/fac… rusi.org/explore-our-re… npr.org/2022/03/01/108… mwi.westpoint.edu/urban-warfare-… euronews.com/my-europe/2025…

Youssef Khoukha, 61, could do little but watch as the business he built over 26 years was ransacked. “We tried to reason with them... telling them we’re a family business," he told me. "They said: listen, it’s very simple, you leave and we won’t hurt you” irishtimes.com/world/europe/…

This has been Putin's dream for years: That his country, with GDP per capita lower than Poland, unable to conquer Donbas since 2014, will be treated as an equal to the US and China. wsj.com/world/russia/putin-f…

FRANCE 🇫🇷 : A heartbreaking scene😢. A business owner desperately pleads with looters and vandals to leave her shop alone. Her livelihood is being destroyed before her eyes. No business owner should have to endure this.
