I just tried calling President Trump. He didn’t answer. If he had, I’d have asked if he’s trying to scare the Ukrainian people into surrender.
No warning yet again tonight before a series of ballistic missile strikes on Kyiv, sources tell me. I heard at least 8-10 massive booms.

Hard-On for Putin, Tough on Ukraine
Look at the graphic above and read down each column. On the left is how the Trump administration has treated Vladimir Putin, the man who launched the largest war in Europe since 1945. On the right is how it has treated Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the duly-elected leader of the democratic country Putin invaded. Hold the two side by side and the pattern is obvious. The aggressor gets stroked. The victim gets ultimatums and threats. This week highlights the pattern.

Full agree. Violent French chaos sets stage for Le Pen to pose as strongwoman who will sort it all out at home (and then pull support from Ukraine)

In the 1980s, when I was in college, I joined a Republican party led by Ronald Reagan. This party, however inconsistently, emphasized freedom, democracy, and human rights. The GOP is now a party of Putin. To hell with them, forever.
Vance: "I've never met Putin in person. I've spoken to him on the phone. He was calmer than you might expect. The American media has a stereotype of him. He's very deliberate and measured in his words.
I think, at his core, he's someone who cares about Russia's interests as he sees them. One reason he respects the President is that he recognizes the President cares about the interests of the American people."

Either Marco just admitted that the US government does not control Starshield and we are at the mercy of a ketamine junkie’s whims or that the government does not control what the Pentagon does or that Marco is pathetically out of the decision loop altogether. Embarrassing.

Ossoff: "Maybe you saw Trump so desperate that he's begging Putin for diesel. But listen to this -- at the very same time, the White House is brokering the sale of billions in Russian energy assets to people who fund the Trump family and the Trump campaign. Y'all remember Jared Kushner?"

.@elonmusk make sure @Starlink keeps all records and communications regarding your alliance with Russia. Subpoenas are coming. I am sure the European market will want to know what happened.
Ukraine's Starshield terminals still don't work properly, President Zelensky confirms, disabling Ukrainian interceptors used to shoot down Russian jet-powered drones that have been hitting civilian targets in recent weeks.

On October 16, 2019, I told Donald Trump, “With you, Mr. President, all roads lead to Putin.”
On October 16, 2026, Trump signed an executive order waiving new sanctions on Russia passed by bipartisan majorities in Congress and signed into law just last month.
This decision insults America’s commitment to democracy and our brave men and women in uniform, as Russia helps Iran target American forces.
I join Republican senators in condemning this unconscionable capitulation to a Russian dictator who illegally invaded Ukraine and butchers innocent civilians.
As I have asked for years: What does Putin have on Trump that he would sell out America’s values?

SpaceX, not the Pentagon, is currently deliberately crippling Ukraine’s Starshield terminals, sources tell me. It appears the intent is to damage Ukrainian drone operations.

Always remember, Dmitriev stole tens of millions of dollars from the Russian taxpayer to buy luxury properties in Monaco, France and Russia, using Cypriot offshore financial entities registered in his relatives' names. Lifting sanctions benefits him and his wife Natalya Popova directly.
Here is Navalny's Anti-Corruption Foundation: "The total value of Dmitriev and Popova's French properties is 16 million euros, or one and a half billion rubles."
Dmitriev is subject to EU sanctions. (He's also subject to U.S. sanctions, though they're waived to let him travel to Miami on a regular basis.) He'd love nothing more than for Trump to force a dismal deal on Ukraine that gets these sanctions lifted. Perhaps a future House inquiry into Kushner and Witkoff's pay-to-play diplomacy can delve into this under-discussed aspect of the Russian side of ongoing "peace" negotiations. blog.navalny.com/p/6683/
Putin's envoy Kirill Dmitriev is celebrating Trump's suspension of sanctions against Russia, calling it a "truly historic moment."
Dmitriev also says Russia and the US are exploring cooperation on data centres.
This looks like another Kremlin scheme to lure Trump into pressuring Ukraine to stop striking Russian data centres, including Yandex facilities.
Moscow knows exactly how to exploit Trump's obsession with business deals. They're truly playing him like a fiddle.
