Folks with DAZN have said there will be an option for bars/restaurants, likely through DirecTV. It's absolutely essential that they figure this out. Cannot happen for the regular season Wolves games.
With no cable/satellite deals in place, local bars are unhappy they can't get Wild and Wolves games on their TVs!
Our buddy Tim Mahoney of The Loon and Zamboni's joined today to talk about how it's hurting business.

So this just happened. The St. Paul @PioneerPress newsroom just handed and then read aloud a letter to (Denver-based Media News parent company) management: stop gutting this newspaper! It hurts St. Paul, it hurts the east metro, and it hurts the good people of Minnesota to have fewer eyes at the State Capitol, at City Hall, on your kidsā school district and on the public purse. The deadline set by management for 2-3 newsies to apply for voluntary departure benefits was Monday. Weāll know more on that front shortly. A message to Alden Global Capital: Trimming us more for your hedge fund profits is just wrong. ā at St Paul, MN
This gets worse. On Sept. 9, management informed us they were slashing 2 or 3 newsroom jobs, among cuts to other departments. What do you cut when youāre down to bone? State Capitol coverage? A schools reporter? City Hall? Web editors? Our one and only photographer? The deadline to apply for a voluntary severance package is Monday. Thatās less than a 2-week window to figure out if my career is over ā thereās not a lot of safe landing spots in this industry. And if we long-timers donāt leave, expect lay-offs to follow. Weāve got a good team of dedicated newsies at a determined paper that wants to get it right. But management needs to bolster this newsroom and the communities we cover, not tie our hands and send us packing. Contract negotiations resume Wednesday at 1 West Water St. Expect sparks!
After years of partial outages & deterioration, the iconic 1st National Bank sign is finally back on! The iconic 90 yr old sign in St. Paul, MN underwent restoration & tonight was the night they flipped switch on.
I caught it just in time but I wasnt expecting fireworks! šØšš„³ ā at St Paul, MN

Thanks to @DanBarreiroKFAN and @Gaardsy for having me on to remember friend and colleague David La Vaque.
From the hard work of prep sports to press box cookies to the loss of yet another great hockey journalist, I was honored to share it all.
