That Smell is my favorite. Those opening notes get me every time.
Universal Studios backlot, spring 1977. Photographer David Alexander lined Lynyrd Skynyrd up on a New York street set while a special-effects crew ran propane jets to put the buildings, and the pavement at the band's feet, in flames. That photo became the cover of Street Survivors, which came out 49 years ago today, on October 17, 1977. It was Steve Gaines's only studio album with the band, and he wrote "I Know a Little" and "Ain't No Good Life" and co-wrote "You Got That Right" with Ronnie Van Zant. Three days later, on October 20, the band's chartered plane ran out of fuel and crashed in the woods near Gillsburg, Mississippi, killing Van Zant, Steve Gaines, his sister Cassie Gaines, assistant road manager Dean Kilpatrick and both pilots. Out of respect for the dead, and at the request of Steve's widow Teresa, MCA pulled the flames cover and swapped in a shot of the band against a plain black background. Street Survivors went to No. 5 in the US, and the original cover came back for the 2008 deluxe edition.

ALT Album cover of Lynyrd Skynyrd's Street Survivors. Seven band members in 1970s clothes stand in a row on a city street at dusk, with flames rising from the buildings behind them and from the pavement around their feet. From left: a tall man in a white suit, a man in a patterned jacket, a man in a black hat and western shirt, a man in a red shirt at center, a man in a hat and "My Grass Is Blue" T-shirt, a bearded man in a "Vegetarian" T-shirt and denim shorts, and a man in glasses and a white jacket. LYNYRD SKYNYRD and "Street Survivors" are written in yellow script across the top.
APT pushing toward a dollar has my attention. Let's see if buyers can keep showing up.
$APT Market Update: Buyers Target $1.00 Level Amid Sustained Accumulation
Aptos (APT) is showing strong bullish momentum as buyers aggressively push the token back toward the key $1.00 psychological region. Since hitting its local lows in August, the asset has established a robust upward structure, highlighted by an impressive 74.5% vertical rally.
On-chain and order-book behavior point to systematic accumulation by institutional-scale participants, creating higher lows and limiting downside volatility. While overall trading volumes have ticked up modestly relative to summer levels, price action remains highly constructive.
Outlook: The baseline setup favors continued consolidation above the 200-day moving average (MA200) before the next directional expansion.

Curious what drove the spike. Good to see Algorand activity picking up.
⚡ @Algorand moved 619,004 transactions on October 8.
That averages 7.16 TPS, its busiest day of the past 7 days.
Algorand had a busy one.

$BTC is testing HTF resistance at 87K.
Like I mentioned yesterday, it is a short-POI but I'm personally not taking it yet.
Yes we left a lot of untapped SSL beneath the lows in this move up, including weekend liquidity.
It's more than valid to target that liquidity with shorts, but I want Bitcoin to sweep the highs first.
We've been building liquidity above the 87.4K highs for a while now + it's right beneath the 87.6K Y.O.
A short after the sweep of 87.6k/88K is higher probability for me, so I'm skipping the short locally.
If you're a good scalper and not in longs yet, you could even try to get in locally and target the 87.4K high.
Keep in mind that the scalp is high-risk since we're at the range-high, so not the region to look for quality longs.
The 82.2K region is still a very nice POI for quality longs, but I'm waiting on what the market will do here.
Pump through the highs and reject the Y.O.? Shorts after the trigger. Pump through the highs and accept? Long continuations.
If we dump from here I'm simply not in the move down.
Now they gotta give people a real reason to want STREAM. A burn only gets you so far.
70% of the supply burned.
Price only moved ~30%.
So what exactly did @streamflow_fi accomplish?
I think the answer is more interesting than “token burn = bullish.”
Streamflow just burned 699.99M STREAM, 100% of the tokens held by the Foundation.
That’s roughly 70% of the original 1B supply.
And with no mint authority, total supply is now permanently capped at 300M STREAM.
Burn tx:

The founder also returned ~90% of his personal allocation, with part burned and part returned to the team bucket.
So the biggest change isn't today's price.
It's the removal of a massive future supply overhang.
Before:
1B supply → large Foundation treasury → future distribution/selling uncertainty.
Now:
300M max supply → no mint authority → Foundation treasury gone.
That's a much cleaner supply equation.
But here's my personal take on what happens next.
I don't think the burn itself is the main STREAM thesis.
The burn has basically finished the supply-side reset.
Now comes the harder part:
Can Streamflow turn real platform usage into sustained demand for STREAM?
If Streamflow continues expanding its token infrastructure, grows its user/project base and increases protocol revenue, the combination of:
Fixed 300M supply
- growing usage
- stronger token utility
- revenue-driven staking
could create a much more interesting supply-demand setup over the next few years.
My base case is that STREAM gradually moves from being valued mainly on tokenomics narratives toward being valued on actual protocol activity and value accrual.
The bullish scenario is simple:
More projects → more usage → more revenue → more STREAM demand
while supply can no longer expand.
The risk is equally simple:
A smaller supply means little if demand doesn't grow.
So I'm not bullish because 70% was burned.
I'm interested because the burn removes the dilution question and puts the focus entirely on execution.
Streamflow has basically removed the easy excuse.
Now let's see what they build with the remaining 300M.

This manipulation is crazy.
$BTC pumped from $82,900 to $85,600 this morning liquidating $210M shorts!
Then, $BTC immediately dumped back to $83,000 liquidating another $100M!!!
And now, $85,500 - $87,500 above has sizable liquidity that could be swept next.
However, $79,500 - $82,500 below has almost 3x more liquidation clusters stacked up, making this the 'higher probability' zone to visit next.
Bulls and Bears just got wiped out!
