Flashback to October last year, moments before our big rebrand, when we were named Finalists at the prestigious US-based Content Marketing Institute Awards. It was a moment! One we’ll never forget!

So offering podcasting to our clients as a service was immediately a no-brainer.

Remember: If you lose a sale to one business, it’s possible they’ll lose one to you next time. Swings and roundabouts are what marketing is all about 🙂
But alas, you didn’t go into a career in marketing if you weren’t up for the challenge 😆
Your ideal customers may overlap a bit, but your job as a marketer is to really dive deep into the unique value your brand can deliver to them.
Still use the idea, but make yours better than your competitor.
So what do you do in this situation? Well the reality is, there’s generally enough room for both of you to succeed.
Contrary to what we’ve been told since kindergarten, competitors don’t need to be enemies. There’s enough room for everyone to have a turn on the podium.
You see, it means that both you and your competitor have a strong idea of what your audience is looking for. It also means that your content marketing is *likely* heading in the right direction (and your skills as a marketer are where they need to be).
Ever had a great content marketing idea, only to have your competitor get to it first?! Sometimes while you’re still waiting for yours to be approved by management 🤦🤯
While we get that it’s a tad annoying (ok NGL SUPER annoying), it’s not necessarily a bad thing.
Check out the article to see what 3 wishes I would ask for and what my ‘one-sentence’ piece of advice was (which you can all guess was more than just one sentence 🤦😆):

We chatted about the power of quiet rebellion and neurodivergent leadership, what motivates me and what my best investment has been.
Wayyyy back before Christmas (why does that seem so long ago now! ) I was lucky enough to be interviewed by Auspreneur, a leading news website that reports on everything related to business and the start-up sector worldwide.

🎙️CONTENT REBELS PODCAST REPLAY ⏪
I loved chatting with Mark Ankucic on our Content Rebels Podcast about the way we, as humans, interact with brands and how that shapes the marketing industry.
We all know that marketing is not just about selling products or services. It’s about invoking feelings and emotions to help the audience feel connected to what they’re buying.
Shoutout to all the pets working overtime these school holidays. May any glitter fairies, superheroes and creative geniuses be kind to you 😂 Poor Oscar is not quite sure what he’s signed up for here!
