Intelligence is the next frontier of space. The first public release of the OS Platform is making it accessible to everyone. Anyone with an account can now use the forecasts we run for satellite operators. The platform predicts link quality and traffic demand for the fleets and ground networks you operate. Academic access is also included in this release. Sign up or link a school email, and your account gets Developer allowances for free. Read more about our release here: constellation.space/blog/con…

Astrolight reports its first optical ground link went from first light to routine operations in a week: two passes a day at 1 Gbps, run remotely. Availability was above 85% for passes above 15 degrees. That still leaves roughly one pass in seven that doesn't close. The Constellation Platform forecasts link quality one to five minutes ahead, so an operator sees which passes will deliver before the contact starts. astrolight.com/astrolight-de…

Saturday’s launch brought SDA’s Tranche 1 to 84 satellites. Earlier this year, GAO documented incompatible interfaces between vendors’ NOVA ground systems and SDA’s shared SUPERNOVA system, alongside delayed testing and rising integration costs. ConstellationOS addresses the telemetry side of that problem: it normalizes ground data into one schema and API, so the same forecasting and contact-planning software can work across ground systems. gao.gov/products/gao-26-1070…

SpaceX told the IAC that Starlink had conjunctions with about 650 unique maneuvering third-party satellites this year, and only about half of those operators share ephemeris. Some approaches ended at tens to hundreds of meters. Without the other operator's ephemeris, the conjunction screen runs on a stale orbit. A late notice leads to a burn, which moves every pass booked at the stations after it. ConstellationOS re-plans the passes a maneuver displaces and rebooks them across ground providers. The operator approves one schedule diff. arstechnica.com/space/2026/1…

Satellite fleet growth has hit a massive software wall. Static link margins, reactive scripts, and fragmented vendor APIs leave massive downlink capacity on the table. Why scaling satellite fleets cannot mean scaling middleware, and how we are fixing it: 🧵👇

Our research team's first blog post is live! We explore how physics-informed forecasting can improve satellite contact planning across Ka-band and optical links, with interactive examples of throughput, weather-driven outages, and the uncertainty behind scheduling decisions. We're hiring for Research Scientists in Seattle! @constspace is working on bringing intelligence to satellite mission operations. To help satellite networks scale, we need to automate mission operations so they perform well under various failure modes. We are building physics-informed forecasting and decision models for satellite mission assurance, and we are looking for scientists and engineers to help build them! The role is on-site in Seattle. You must be a U.S. person (ITAR). Apply here: lnkd.in/gcV5sihj

Orbital operations are still reactive. We're changing that. Ahead of SmallSat, Constellation Space (YC26) is partnering with WarpWare. Constellation replaces legacy threshold alarms with ML forecasts built on live telemetry; unifying ground stations, cloud compute, and weather data into a single API. But a forecast is only useful if you can act on it. By integrating Constellation into WarpWare's WarpTwin environment, we connect physics-based spacecraft simulation directly to active ML models - closing the loop from prediction to execution. What this means for your next mission: Seamless integration - One interoperable stack from preflight testing through active flight to post-mission delivery. Automated orchestration - Ground stations coordinate automatically, cutting latency. Maximum yield - Continuous operational insight optimizes data yield per pass. If you are in Salt Lake City for SmallSat this week and would like to learn more, shoot us a DM. #SmallSat #SpaceTech

Incredible! Seattle is going to be the aerospace and technological hub of the world. This was a precise reason our company @constspace chose to headquarter here. +1 as well... we're hiring!
K2 Space is excited to announce that we are opening an engineering hub in the greater Seattle region. Even better, we’re hiring! Our Seattle-area office will be an engineering outpost powering the most capable satellites in commercial space. From flight software and autonomy to the low-level systems that drive our satellites’ most demanding workloads, this team will contribute to satellites operating at the edge of what’s possible. In four years, our engineers have built and launched the most powerful dual channel Hall thrusters currently in orbit. We’re now scaling to produce hundreds of satellites by 2030, backed by over $500M raised and $1B in contracts. We’re looking for engineers excited to disrupt the industry, not maintain it. Want to come build bigger with us? Check out our Seattle-area postings at k2space.com/careers.
