I had such a great time sharing my grandfather Fred G. Pastore’s remarkable career with the @IRS_CI & beyond. In the heyday of racketeers and gambling in Boston. Thanks to everyone who came out to I AM BOOKs in the North End. It was a special night & I am grateful. More to come.
My grandfather kept a list of names, with dollar amounts beside them.
He was expected to read it at his resignation press conference, and he never did.
It's still in the box, and we're keeping it there.
