“R. Patriarca — Overlord”
Woah, cybercab was parked outside my house today in a Boston area suburb. Looks like it has a steering wheel on this version. Must be drive testing, mapping if there are any signal issues. My 7 year old son went nuts when he saw it. Very cool.

Larry Potash has made 128 episodes of Backstory. He has 21 Emmys and a Murrow Award. WGN Radio asked him this week which of the eight new episodes he's most excited about, and he told the story of a cardboard box, a mob boss's name on a piece of paper, and a grandfather he called
"the Eliot Ness of Boston."
That's my grandfather. That's Fred.
I've been trying to get people to understand why this story matters for three years. It took Larry about forty seconds. Listen at 6:20.

5 MILLION VISITORS ✨
Today, The Mob Museum welcomed its 5 millionth visitor: Lisa Brown from Hinton, Iowa! 🎉
To mark this extraordinary milestone, we surprised Lisa with lifetime admission to The Mob Museum, a gift basket filled with Museum favorites, and, of course, eternal bragging rights as our 5 millionth visitor.
Five million visitors. Five million journeys through stories of crime, justice, and the history that shaped our fabulous city of Las Vegas.
From the first guest who walked through our doors in 2012 to the one who made today unforgettable, every visit has become a small part of our story!
Here’s to 5 million visitors and another 5 million more. 🥂 A special thank-you to Las Vegas Custom Cakes for creating the delicious and glorious cake that made the celebration a little sweeter, and to @BreakthruBev for providing the bubbly for our toast! 🍾✨

I had such a great time sharing my grandfather Fred G. Pastore’s remarkable career with the @IRS_CI & beyond. In the heyday of racketeers and gambling in Boston. Thanks to everyone who came out to I AM BOOKs in the North End. It was a special night & I am grateful. More to come.

The simple IRS Formula My Grandfather Created: C + R = J
Cooperation + Records = Jail. My grandfather used it to put racketeers away, then to warn his clients after he left the IRS. He even had it on his license plate.
