Introducing Sora, our text-to-video model. Sora can create videos of up to 60 seconds featuring highly detailed scenes, complex camera motion, and multiple characters with vibrant emotions. openai.com/sora Prompt: “Beautiful, snowy Tokyo city is bustling. The camera moves through the bustling city street, following several people enjoying the beautiful snowy weather and shopping at nearby stalls. Gorgeous sakura petals are flying through the wind along with snowflakes.”

This take ignores audience fatigue, multiple seasons of the first seasons tone/vibe would have objectively gotten old. Audiences are fickle like that

The praise around this film isn't simple hype. Leaves you feeling like you watched something worth every minute of your time.
the people deserve to see “They Cloned Tyrone” in theaters on the big screen

If it helps, I saw this a packed bar a week or so ago and yelled out that’s Ryan’s spot. Masses are already seeing your work 🙌🏾
At the after party at a bar, a stranger walked up to me, asked if I was a filmmaker, then told me that he’d had a dream that we were going to meet and that I needed to move (I lived in TX) and that my work was destined to be seen by the masses. 😳

Communicating something outside of yourself is hard. It takes time and effort and self-reflection and wisdom and idiotic failures and false start and empathy and love and anger and, and, and. Then you have to marry that soup to craft, skill, expertise, opportunity. Art is hard.

done. as a director currently getting *hammered* by the devaluation of our work in the commercial industry, i want to ensure that there is actually a meaningful way to make a living in film/tv when i finally get there. standing w/ the WGA on this one.

But it’s also ducking hilarious
It’s 2023. At this point, it’s just silly for phone keyboards to not recognize “fuck” or “fucking” as standard words. It’s ducking stupid.

Again the AI blobs are objectively bad lol. But this is the WORST this will be and likely takes a huge step forward in 6-12 months. We're lambasting this because its easy to point out the flaws now, but this could easily be a concept Pizza Hut could run with.
Definitely wasted 3 hours of my life making this today... Everything is AI from the VO to the video and images. Assembled in After Effects. More info below.

This is all happening soooo fast lol This is objectively bad lol. But we’re in the early public beta stage of this. As a concept, there’s a passable random September football beer commercial under the AI blobs that we see here.
this AI beer commercial looks exactly like how an alien intelligence would understand our beer commercials xitter.cf/OnlyBangersEth/status/…

This is ironic. A 2 minute vid explaining how journalism has change highlighting how no one reads articles anymore for fast media. “it’s long”
It’s long, but worth a watch. A perfect, clear and concise insight into why journalism is currently suffering.

This is still one of the worst ideas in business. Let’s rid ourselves of one of most trusted and recognizable brands in TV. Makes sense. @hbomax

Always love this short and fully agree with @A_B_Allen here, why haven't we seen a single film from Disney in this style.

I love Kyle…I just stepped out this film. Was entertained, had funny moments, but overall I didn’t get it. This was the sentiment of everyone one walking out the theatre I was in. Much more style over what’s supposed to layered substance. A hard pass for general audiences.
As I was watching Ari Aster’s Beau is Afraid (2023) there were three things I was thinking: 1. This is the most fucked up thing that could happen to a human being. How is it getting more fucked up? 2. This is the funniest movie I’ve seen. 3. This is easily Ari’s best film.

For me, Beau is Afraid is a bad film, but it is utterly interesting and that’s not a bad thing. Will be a lot of think pieces for this one. Not much horror to be found here for anyone wondering.
