Well this app was supposed to be ready by shipaton but I guess taking almost a month for an approval is the norm now. Should've known better

What if AI is the biggest Ponzi scheme ever and we’re all too invested to question it?

Has AI made your job as a software dev easier, or just raised expectations? What are you struggling with the most

Have you ever asked yourself what is the real reason you spend so much on this platform ? Before it used to be fun to get into interesting conversations but now it seems the majority of posts(including mine) are all just engagement experiments and what works ends up taking the timeline for a few days.

What’s one way you’re using AI that’s made building or marketing your product easier? I’m curious about your setup and what it helps you get done. Share a quick explanation or a screenshot, even if it’s something simple. And if you just want to share what you’re building, I’d love to see that too. I’ll read and reply to every comment.

Talking to some friends today, I realized using AI is starting to feel like an addiction for me. I’m always thinking of something I could build or automate. Sometimes I’m making random things just because it’s so easy now. And being able to do it from my phone has made it even harder to leave it alone. I keep telling myself, “It’s okay, you’re building your business. You’re working toward being self-sufficient.” And that’s true. But I’m still using it all day and struggling to stop, even when I want to take a break. There’s always another idea, another thing to try. It’s exciting, but sometimes it feels like every bit of free time becomes a chance to build something, and I feel like I’m wasting it if I don’t. Have you noticed this too? I enjoy what AI lets me do, but I’m starting to miss being able to switch off without thinking about what else I could be making.

The older you get, the more you realize how often we turn something simple into something stressful by trying to make it perfect.

Well it finally happened. My app got reviewed after a week. BUT it got rejected for the dumbest reason. I guess now I have to wait another week and hope the tester can actually read this time

This is awesome. If you need to create sounds or music for app and games give this a try.
As promised, here is my process on how I made music for my game using only coding agents and python. Included is a link to the repo with all the tools you need. Agent skills included.

Anyone else getting their apps ready for iPhone Duo? Mine is still in review, so I figured I’d use the wait to get the update ready for whenever Apple approves it. Hopefully it gets approved before the Duo comes out. Starting to feel like a close race atm

Has anyone found a good use for ChatGPT dots? I'm trying to find a good use for it but so far is just another chat

Anyone using RevenueCat, do you use their paywall or build one yourself? I have hear they make it very easy to experiment with design and pricing but I already have that with custom paywalls

I’m not superstitious, but hitting 500 verified followers with 666 total followers in October is a little trippy haha. One goal checked off ✅ Thanks to everyone who helped me get here. Now to focus on getting more conversations going and making more cool friends. LFG 🔥💪

Is it just me, or do you also feel pressure to use all your tokens before the weekly reset? I feel like I’m wasting money if I don’t, but sometimes it’s stressful trying to come up with something to work on just to use them.

Apple is taking its sweet time reviewing my app, so I’ve decided my next project will have two new collaborators: my kids. I want to teach them how to use AI to bring their own ideas to life. They haven’t decided what we’re building yet, so that’s our first step. I don’t know what the world will look like in 10 or 15 years, but I have a hard time imagining AI won’t be part of it. Building something they’re excited about feels like a good way to help them get comfortable with it while we learn together. There’s a personal reason too. Between working full time and building apps, I want to make sure I’m making time for my kids alongside providing for them. I’m a nerd who loves learning new things, and they seem interested, so this feels like something we could have a lot of fun doing together. Maybe we’ll make something other people find useful. Maybe it’ll even earn some money. I’d love that, but I’m already excited to see what they come up with and spend that time with them. I’ll share their idea once they decide, then post updates as we build. Have you tried building something with your kids? I’d love to hear how it went. And if you’re curious where ours goes, follow along.

This might be insignificant to some but I just got my first $10 payment from Apple from an app I created and not gonna lie, It feels awesome. Celebrate your small wins because it took a lot of effort to get there and you deserve it.

October is a special month for me. A lot of good things in my life have happened in October, so maybe it’s my lucky month. Seems like a good excuse to set some optimistic goals: - Get my apps to $100 MRR - Reach 1,000 followers - Start a YouTube channel (this one is a stretch) - Make my first dollar from a SaaS - Have fun and meet more awesome people along the way Last month, I had some really good conversations with people here. Your advice helped me earn my first $50 selling apps, which I’m still pretty excited about. Thank you for taking the time to help someone who’s still figuring this out. Balancing a job, family, building apps, and marketing them isn’t easy. I’m still learning how to fit it all together, but I’m enjoying the challenge and feeling optimistic about this month. Let’s see what October brings.

September ended at 416 followers but I was hoping for 500, so a little disappointed I didn’t make it but still happy to see how far i got. I started the month at 93. And somewhere along the way, I got to know people I’m now excited to see on my feed and talk to. I’m a developer and dad trying to build something of my own in the time I have. Getting to meet other people who are taking a shot at their own ideas has been one of my favorite parts of sharing here. The goal was always to make good connections, and I’ve had some really great conversations this month. That makes it hard to look at 414 and feel like I failed. So I’m going to try to double it in October. Maybe even reach 1,000 by November. I’d love to see how many more people I get to know along the way. If you’ve been following me for a bit, thank you. I’m honestly having a lot of fun getting to know you and seeing what you’re building. Let’s keep helping each other out. LFG 💪!

Hey, if you’re into tech, design, or marketing, I’d love to connect. I’m building apps and still figuring plenty of this out. Let’s get to know what we’re each working on and help each other along the way. I set a goal of reaching 500 followers this month. If you’d like to follow a fellow builder’s journey, I’d be glad to have you here.

I've learned more from spending six months on TickTod than from the other nine apps I put out. I barely marketed those. That's probably part of why they failed. With this one I've stayed long enough to actually have to figure that part out.
