I think you'll find this book interesting: The Laws of Human Nature by Robert Greene. Robert is probably someone you would find interesting on the pod. Prior to becoming an author, Greene estimates that he worked about 50 jobs.
The one I am going to read after that is "The 48 Laws Of Power" also Robert Greene.

Listened #564 with McG. You guys talked about McGs brother. The will to stop taking drugs. In my book "Addiction, Chaos, Discipline", I write that the only one who can quit an addiction is the addict. No one else can quit for you, not your mum, not your friends, etc. It doesn't even matter what they think. The only thing that matters is the addict's own actions and decisions. I put a big bet on dedication and discipline getting people further on that journey than motivation alone. In my book, I also recommend reading "Extreme Ownership" because there are so many lessons in there that apply to getting sober or never starting an addiction in the first place.
DEF is another good book to have in the arsenal ...

The thing is that AI is not free. It costs money.
If someone makes a game and buy AI time for money. If the game does not sell because the market is saturated the gold diggers will see their mistake and move on.
Sure for a time there will be a lot of shitty games and few will sell.
In the end a big chunk will move along because their shitty game won't sell and they won't even get the invested dollars back.
Give it time

I don't think AI will replace us. A shitty game won't sell. A good design still stands
It should not replace people. It should speed up the process. More work in less time.
Art: Artist make art -> AI cleans it up
3D: Modeller makes 3D models -> AI do the retopo etc.
Code: Coder codes -> AI writes tests, coder reviews, etc.
The one who figures out how to keep the people but do more work are the winners.
A game that is not made by people will suck.

Jag gör alltid en code review på det AI gör i syfte att lära mig och förstå vad den gjort. Det är också viktigt såklart.
Det är ett verktyg. Det kan användas rätt eller fel.

I am a programer.
I use AI for everything that is boring: Code review, writing tests, tedious refactoring.
I do all the fun work myself: Gameplay, design etc.
Good balance
