You know who was pretty quiet today regarding the masked white supremacists mobilizing in Kamloops with residential school denialism on the eve of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation? @PierrePoilievre. Here he is posing with the group's founder.

Thx @thewalrus for a great article exposing the ‘big lie’ of Alberta victimisation weaponised by Smith’s opportunism. Our report with @ABFedLabour documents how it’s not Ottawa, but the greed of business @ its UCP backers, that explains Albertans hardship: centreforfuturework.ca/2026/…
Over the ten years, Premier Smith claims Alberta faced a hostile federal government, oil and gas production doubled, and Ottawa poured tens of billions into energy infrastructure. The tolerance of her big lie is almost as remarkable as the lie itself. thewalrus.ca/alberta-separat…

The AFN strongly condemns the display of racism and hate by white nationalists today at Tkʼemlúps te Secwépemc. We call for a full investigation and for governments and Canadians to join us in pushing back against racism. There is no place for this in today’s society. We must stand together against ignorance, racism and lies, and stand up for First Nations rights, for truth, and for reconciliation.
As a Canadian let me say that Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner don’t speak for me in any way. They are a fawning, incompetent embarrassment. They are also a walking, talking never ending conflict of interest,
Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff tells Vladimir Putin, whose invading army has killed hundreds of thousands of people, raped and pillaged while waging the largest and bloodiest war on European soil since World War II, “when we retire, we’ll have all these incredible stories and memories, and yours will be right at the top of it all.”

The CEO of Shopify, one of Canada’s largest corporations, says the poor and the elderly should not be allowed to vote. It’s pretty clear that billionaires are the real problem, not ordinary citizens.

Hébert: "Increasingly what you're hearing from Conservatives in public, not in private, is that they believe he will never be PM. And for sure, what you see on the ground, anecdotally, is that Canadians have tuned them off. They've turned off the radio. And when you turn off the radio on the leader of a federal party, you are doing it to the entire party."

"Thirty minutes after that social media post, Pete Hoekstra sat down with Global News for an exclusive interview and defended the president's threats."
Canadian media insisting on platforming Hoekstra are complicit in sanewashing Trump's attacks on Canada, and it needs to stop.

BREAKING: New Emergency Resolution passed today re: Alberta Separation:
The Annual General Assembly of the Assembly of First Nations (AFN) has passed a landmark resolution to protect Treaty Rights from threats posed by a separatist movement in Alberta. The emergency resolution was put forward by Sunchild First Nation and Confederacy of Treaty No. 6 First Nations Grand Chief Joey Pete and Proxy Chief Matthew Coon Come, Cree Nation of Nemaska, Quebec. It states that no province has the legal authority to alter, diminish, or extinguish Treaty Rights or the constitutional relationship between First Nations and the Crown.
Nations from across the country have expressed their solidarity with Treaty First Nations in Alberta in opposing this threat. First Nations rights are not negotiable and continued cooperation among First Nations will be essential in protecting Treaty Rights for future generations.

Alberta Independence doesn’t mean losing your Canadian passport.
It means having two: Canadian & Albertan.

🎥 ⭕️ Why does the U.S. keep repeating the same foreign policy mistakes?
@RyanGrim:
After Iraq, how did the United States once again miscalculate so badly with Iran? Why does the system fail to learn lessons?
@ChrisLynnHedges:
“It’s ideologically driven. So all of the Heritage Foundation, all of these think tanks are funded by the war industry. And that’s how you resurrect the same people.
I was overseas for 20 years as a reporter, I dealt with Elliott Abrams during the war in El Salvador. And Robert Kagan, who was his deputy.
And they never go away, even though they’re wrong about everything. Because they’re shills for the people who make money from war. They don’t know anything.“
