My pleasure @laurelhillsec Always particularly good to welcome #Limerick( and Clare😀)students. Some fantastic contributors and a special word of thanks as always to their teacher @cmcging for her unstinting work with @POLSOCTeachers and in promoting @PDST_PolAndSoc 👏
Great visit to Dáil Éireann today for 6th Politics & Society students. We did a tour of the building followed by a workshop facilitated by fellow Limerick man Conor Reale in Committee Room 3. Such a warm welcome from all staff in Leinster House - many thanks to all! @ConorReale
Hi @IrishRail - I prebooked 31 places on the 1500 Heuston to Cork today for a school group, only to find a ‘technical issue’ in coach E meant that no names were visible above the seats, so it was a free for all. Apparently nothing could be done.
While I received an apology from the host, it was incredibly stressful and unpleasant for the children who ended up sharing seats. I don’t believe any of this is acceptable, especially when the booking was clearly made in the school’s name so it was clear children were involved.
Also there is no email address for me to direct my complaint, just a help form.
I am no longer looking for help, but I do wish to lodge a complaint. @IrishRail
A great day to be in Dáil Éireann with a wonderful bunch of students and an excellent tour guide and facilitator @ConorReale

How much longer do our students have to endure being shortchanged for their hard-work and effort. When will the powers that be listen to what teachers, students and their parents are saying about JC? @NormaFoleyTD1 #edchatie
It was polsoc exam day! Lots of great questions but also question 5 - not sure what that was about.
Debrief this evening at 4.30 so check your mails for zoom link. If you haven’t received you can send me a DM and I’ll forward the link @POLSOCTeachers
Gavin Reilly should also teach Politics & Society!
For the day that’s in it, this explainer, from @gavreilly, is excellent.
