Even BSV?
Saw some comments about my post on this topic 👇 🤣 1. I am always supportive of any blockchain making any progress in any country. BTC, ETH, BNB, XRP, SOL, HYPE, ZEC, SIGN, all stablecoins, etc, you name it... 2. I was happy that SOL can advertise and get an office in Shanghai. It would open the path for others to follow. It would also indicate that "China unbanned crypto", which would be positive news for all of us. But alas, that's not quite the case yet, it seems... 3. My X post was not the trigger. It's now emerged that the Bund building ad was taken down within 10 minutes. (If you don't know, China monitors speech and media in real-time.) I only saw it on X 12-24 hours after the fact. 4. Regardless of the outcome, it's good effort. Keep building and keep pushing adoption.

Great talk
I'm American. I feel the lack of access to BSV on US exchanges as much as anyone. But access and liquidity aren't just an American problem. It's a global one, we've known it for a long time, and we're doing something about it. A lot is happening behind the scenes: exchanges coming on board, in some cases back on board, with real liquidity. Could the Association do a better job of telling you about it? Absolutely. We own that. Mistakes were made that contributed to BSV getting delisted in the first place. Not all of those decisions were made by the people here today, but the community paid for them, and we have to own them. A group of people organizing for the good of BSV in the USA, not waiting for someone else to fix things, is exactly the energy this community (and Americans in general!) runs on. I'd love to be part of it. But exchanges were never the whole point. Bitcoin was never just about speculation, buying and holding, and watching a chart. It's about use. The only way Bitcoin succeeds is if this kind of energy goes into building applications on top of the protocol, things we all want to use and build with. We can't lose sight of that mission. And let me be clear: the entire point of Bitcoin is that there is no king. By locking the protocol, no single entity can alter the foundation we're building on. Not the Association, not anyone. Nobody needs our permission to build, organize, or fight for it. The Association is simply people acting in the best interest of BSV, and for the first time, it's run by people who've been in the trenches with all of you. You're going to see a lot more of what that means very soon. That's why opening twitter and seeing a rebrand push is frustrating. Not because anyone needed to ask us, but because contacting CoinMarketCap and others to rename BSV, without talking to the rest of the people working on the same problems, doesnt feel super productive. Telegram, email, or DM me here. Nobody should be afraid to reach out. We're also starting working groups where people can build together. An effort like this could live under one of them. Not joining something we run, but being part of something we're all building. The oldest way to kill a movement is to splinter it. A new name and ticker just tells the world we can't agree on who we are. We're stronger together. Let's build solutions together.

I love BRC-100 and the new BSV stack. I've shipped several live products on it, real users, real sats, every day. The primitives are the best in crypto. But the complexity isn't encapsulated yet. Reorgs, mempool rules, what a tx status means, a wallet's coins drifting from the chain, and limits we're putting on users that they never see until something breaks. Every app dev meets all of it in production, alone. That's not a knock on the builders. They fix what you bring them,... fast. The hard part is that nobody has tried to put their hands around the whole thing yet. There's no way to reproduce every edge case fast and cheaply, so each one gets found in production, once per team. Other chains closed this gap with worse primitives and more hands. We can close it with better primitives and fewer, if the machine gets written down once so humans and agents can build on it and test against it. I'm going to do that. All of it if I have to. Interested in how? Interested in ways you can help? Interested in increasing the productivity and efficiency of your team by 100x? Don't reply. Call me. No excuses. BRC-100 should be the best in the world.

“operating a chain focused exclusively on consumer crypto has ultimately proven to be unsustainable as a standalone model.”
Abstract is winding down. Starting today, all of @IglooInc's focus will go towards taking Pudgy Penguins, Pudgy NFTs, and $PENGU to the next level. When we acquired Frame in the summer of 2024, the vision was to build the blockchain for consumer crypto. Pudgy Penguins had shown us what it meant to reach the masses, and we believed we could bring that same approach to building a chain. Abstract achieved a lot in a short period of time; we built the Portal and AGW, onboarded major global brands, amassed over 300 million transactions, and grew a vibrant onchain ecosystem.  The journey became stifled by the lack of a DeFi ecosystem, insufficient liquidity, minimal institutional cross-over, and prohibitively high costs that impeded growth in winning areas. Unknown to most, Igloo, Inc. had been funding Abstract over the last 18 months. After losing tens of millions of dollars over two years, building consumer products, assembling an all-star team, onboarding some of the biggest brands in the world, and building a community of millions, we still had not found product-market fit. In combination with the market's reduced appetite for what we had built and not being able to find a scalable path forward, we could no longer justify taking from the Pudgy Penguins business. Igloo, Inc. has always been a community-first company. Even after losing 8 figures, we could have launched a token or pursued an ICO. Ultimately we decided against this. A token only works if there is something driving demand to it, and launching a token that we don’t have conviction in would have been a disservice to our community. The entire team at Abstract has worked tirelessly with a tremendous amount of passion to make the consumer crypto vision come true. I cannot fault a single one of them for this outcome. To the Abstract community, I want to thank all of you for sticking by our side on this long journey and for continuing to champion us. You supported us through all of the ups and downs, and I wish the result could have been different. There will be many that will find satisfaction in seeing this shut down, and that is fine. I take a great amount of pride in having the ambition to venture into the chain business, notoriously one of the most difficult to make work, and the only regret I have is not being able to celebrate a win alongside the Abstract community. As we wind down Abstract, our full focus shifts to making Pudgy Penguins into the global & cultural phenomenon I know it can become.  Return to Pudgy Penguins.

Great. Design software for Agent.
Why yes, of course SpiffyVault Desktop has a built-in MCP server scoped to a wallet you choose and set spending limits for your agent on.

web3co2.com/ Every Proof-of-Work transaction has a real carbon cost. WEB3CO2 measures it from live network data — and reveals how radically that cost differs between blockchains. It's 5,832 × more carbon-efficient to transact on BSV than BTC. @SmartLedgerTech

As a non-dev, I made a cold wallet, built and audited with Fable 5.1. It works smoothly, but I still feel uneasy about its security. If there were a reliable alternative, I wouldn't have built it. I'm still waiting for reliable ones to be developed so I can gladly scrap mine.

BRC-100 is a wallet-to-app protocol. Every wallet will support it, and every app needs it. AI isn't great with newer things. When I first asked Google and AI, they told me it was a BTC token protocol. It took me weeks of building something to understand what it really is.

He continues the Teranode test.
I’m continuing my 10 million-plus testing and working towards expanding to ten nodes. No, I shall not be publishing the IP addresses. A global test does not require the entire internet to appoint itself an unpaid research assistant. This is my own testing environment, not mainnet. I’m running on a non-standard port, and multicast is configured. These are experimental arrangements, not invitations to invent a conspiracy because a port number has offended somebody’s expectations. The practical difficulty is that I am one person. Router management, updates, maintenance, PFV3, logging, checks, network administration: none of it becomes optional merely because I would prefer to concentrate on the experiment. So I have a variety of AI agents handling different responsibilities. Without that assistance, conducting a global test on this scale would not have been possible for me in the past. The work requires a team. I have therefore acquired one. Unfortunately, it is rather like employing a collection of excessively trained uneducated three-year-olds. Imagine giving a toddler Cisco CCIE-level knowledge of routers, no dependable understanding of why this particular network needs to behave as it does, and permission to touch things. Now imagine several toddlers. They possess the technical vocabulary of a senior engineer and the touching conviction that anything which can be changed ought to be improved immediately. They can explain how to move the staircase. Whether you happen to be standing on it belongs to another department. This is not an argument against using them. Quite the opposite. Their assistance makes the work possible. They can save enormous amounts of time—provided one does not allow their enthusiasm to create an entirely new category of work. The distinction is between knowing how to execute a command and understanding why that command belongs in this experiment, under these conditions, at this moment. A beautifully executed alteration can still ruin what you were trying to measure. That is where I come in: deciding the purpose, setting the boundaries, checking the results, and ensuring that “helpful” has not quietly become “unauthorised.” This is the world we are now in. One person can undertake work that once demanded a substantial team, assisted by machines of extraordinary utility and occasionally breathtaking innocence. The nursery has acquired administrative privileges. It has not acquired adulthood.

bitspv.com/publish now supports BRC100 wallets. The new Yours Wallet uses the same wallet app interaction protocol as Metanet Desktop and BSV Desktop. This standardized integration makes things much simpler for applications.
