From my copy of Trains Magazine, January 1999:
"Thomas" made his debut at the Strasburg Railroad on the September 25-27, 1998 weekend. He ran on the end of quarter-mile shuttles several times each hour, with motive power supplied by a GE 44-tonner diesel.

Just arrived in the mail: a Talyllyn Railway postcard of Edward Thomas approaching Rhydyronen.
Wilbert Awdry would send one to C. Reginald Dalby, which he used when illustrating the book Four Little Engines!
The Reginald Payne Book of Railways is now available!
Seeing print for the first time since the 1930s, this paperback features 43 sketches of trains from around the world, all drawn by the artist that would go on to illustrate Thomas.

A week to go until The Reginald Payne Book of Railways is published!
I received the final proof copy to review: it’s similar to the format of the original book (8X10 inches) with a total of 43 drawings spanned across 27 pages.
Available through Amazon on August 19th!
Excited to announce that I have been working on a new paperback of Reginald Payne's other railway art to celebrate 80 years when he drew Thomas!
Featuring over 40 sketches of trains from around the world, and have not seen print since the 1930s.
Available worldwide August 19th!
As a follow up, I happened to find a copy of Model Railroader that included the other advert, now rescanned!
Newest purchase: three 35mm slides advertising Thomas and the Magic Railroad!
These were originally owned by a theater manager and kept in storage before recently being auctioned.

"Trust Thomas"
A recreation of a classic Thomas & Friends episode, completely animated and rendered in @Blender. This project has been my most ambitious yet and I hope you enjoy it. Credits are at the end of the episode.

It’s surreal to see merchandise of D-Fusit in the big 2026. Bachmann is making some great products in their 009 range. Also a few people asked so here are a couple of pics of the Bachmann Sir Handel with the S4 prop.
Picked up a couple Thomas calendars!
They have nice big pictures, and I’m currently in the process of scanning them:
Another Day Out with Thomas shirt pick up, featuring Owen Bell artwork!
This one is dated 1998, which I believe is the first year the event officially began in the United States, and makes this shirt all the more special to me!
