This is incredible news - all babies under 6mo will be eligible for RSV immunisation from September 1st. This is will have an even bigger impact on our PICU beds than last year and save hundreds of infants and their families the stress of hospital admission 🥳👏🏻
Nirsevimab was pivotal in preventing RSV bronchiolitis last Winter. The immunisation scheme will be expanded this year to include infants from 6 months to 1 year of age as well as newborns.
Please share as uptake is so vital to keep babies safe 👶🏻🦠
