Guys, Claude/CGPT/Etc. are losing you deals. It is like having the most risk-averse lawyer who sees everything wrong. I am seeing a lot of overly aggressive AI-generated negotiations that flag small issues as major issues and encourage you to take the most aggressive positions.

A friend of mine, age 48 started having some issues, it was determined he had a brain tumor in August last year and he passed in November after unsuccessful surgery and treatment. He was a banker, and today I saw his job posted. This is your reminder that it is just a job, don’t let it rule your life.

7. Yukio Shige
Yukio is a retired police officer.
Rather than spend his retirement relaxing -- he spent it in the notorious suicide location: Tōjinbō cliffs
He's prevented an estimated 789 suicides with his binoculars, attention to detail and empathy.

One thing we’ve done is taking inspirational Sponge Trips.
We’ll go to a an outstanding operation such as the BMW plant and take a tour then discuss what we learned and saw.
Be a sponge take in everything you see and learn. Write it down. Discuss it and see what we can borrow and apply ourselves.
Or we’ll divide the team up and each group will go to a different outstanding retail operation and absorb everything they see, interview the manager, and come back and each group reports what they learned.
Outstanding way to get inspiration, learn from the best, and cultivate an awareness of greatness among your team.

You’re constantly improving sales, which crushes operations.
Then improving operations and sales needs to go drive revenue.
Grow - break - grow - break. Learn to be ok with the tension and cycles.

Your weekly reminder that Goldman Sachs believes AI will automate away an astronomical 44% of legal jobs 👀
The already high-risk proposition of attending a low-ranked law school has increased ten-fold.

Spend 5x the effort on retention versus recruiting.
I see companies do the opposite.
And it’s sad to see high performers walk out the door because of it.

The problem with most companies is that they promote people into management with no plan to develop the necessary skills to be a leader.

Weak guys warn you life ends with marriage & kids.
Ignore them.
I played higher stakes poker, traveled the world, spent nights in the “best nightclubs with the best DJs” in the world & NOTHING compares to the joy I feel from being a father.
My life has 100x because of my kids.

Five years ago we were in a a MISERABLE marriage.
Our house wasn’t a HOME,
it was a war zone.
We didn’t speak days at a time.
•We said the D word.
•All we have almost wasn’t.
•My kids could’ve not had a dad.
Recently my wife told me,
It’s better than the honeymoon!
