If you are leaving Singapore come to the airport 1-2 hours before your registration opens. Doesn't matter from which terminal you fly, first go to the shopping centre called Jewel right across the road from T1. Lots of shops and attractions on multiple levels including the glass bridge overlooking the waterfall and skytrain. You will love it. Or hate it because you will get scared like a little bitch.
