PumpFun is the de facto leader in the trenches, and the numbers speak for themselves. It’s the #1 launchpad, so of course it will have an enormous number of scams and rug pulls. Any #1 launchpad will inevitably show the highest absolute number of failed launches simply because that’s where most launches happen. A lot of people are hating on @Pumpfun right now. Some are just hating for the sake of it. No suggestions, no solutions, no constructive ideas - just emotions. There’s no desire to fix the situation or make things better, only to find someone to blame. That victim mentality leads nowhere. If there’s a problem, we need to solve it, not make it worse by creating an atmosphere of hopelessness. I simply want the @Pumpfun team and @a1lon9 himself to be more receptive to criticism. Because behind some of the harshest and wildest accusations, there’s valuable feedback about what needs to be improved, updated, or removed. The answer shouldn’t be to run away from criticism, let @a1lon9 fight against it. Having a dedicated public relations team to communicate with the community is completely normal. I’m simply distinguishing between technological utility and social significance. We need to strive for balance. Technology cannot exist without people, and vice versa. You can’t keep improving the technology while completely ignoring its social impact. From what I can see, Alon and the team are continuing to develop the platform and improve it technically. I respect that. But I also hope Alon will listen to critics, even when their arguments are not always reasonable, and look at their feedback from a more objective perspective. The question isn’t how to make PumpFun more likable. It’s how to make it more adaptable and responsive to objectively real problems. And let’s be honest, those problems exist: A lack of community culture. A lack of social education and structured approaches to community development. A shift in priorities away from pure speculation and toward building projects that can last. What are your thoughts on this? Drop your opinions in the comments. I’ll be happy to respond.
I can prove that nearly half the people FUDing Pumpfun or memecoins on CT have asked me or my circle how to get partnerships, trade better, make money or grow their following You think some are good guys and others are bad guys Nah, some are just mad they can’t win

Yo, @a1lon9 , what do you think about introducing a social reputation system on @Pumpfun ? I’m not talking about callout rankings or economic performance metrics. I mean actual social reputation. People should be able to publicly flag someone as a scumbag, even if their calls deliver 2x or 10x returns at the cost of outright scams. Some of these assholes have decent ratings and thousands, even tens of thousands of followers, yet they’re absolute pieces of shit. And the platform doesn’t socially identify them as such. There’s no button to flag that kind of behavior. We need social reputation rankings. This could create at least a basic system of social stratification within the ecosystem. Developers who launch tokens and genuinely contribute to the process could be rewarded not only with fees, but also with status, recognition, and followers. Meanwhile, those who act in bad faith could lose their status and become ineligible for both social and financial rewards. Reward the devs who do things the right way. Let the community downvote the assholes into oblivion.

I’m was Pumpfun hater also. I’ve been in crypto since 2017 and DeFi for over 6 years. I’ve seen billion-dollar memecoins being built, and I’ve been part of those movements myself. But let me tell ya smthng. Pumpfun is a tech ecosystem. Technology provides the tools, but the culture surrounding their use and the behavioral patterns that emerge are ultimately shaped by the community. Nobody forced people to join the platform at gunpoint. They made their own decisions and helped shape the culture we see today. Blaming technology for every social problem without proposing solutions is counterproductive. That doesn’t mean the platform has no responsibility for its decisions or its influence on users. I believe @a1lon9 and the @Pumpfun team shouldn’t simply chase new audiences to escape criticism. A more productive approach would be to hire PR and community development professionals, gather feedback, and establish a dialogue with existing participants, critics, and even haters. Then they could build a real program focused on community culture and development, changing the incentive structure to measure not only trading volume and fees, but also the social value of projects, builders’ contributions, long-term holder engagement, and communities’ ability to attract and retain people. At the same time, many critics remain trapped in the same speculative mindset they condemn. They’re frustrated because their trading / “gambling” strategies are no longer as effective as they used to be, yet few offer meaningful alternatives. Criticism is necessary, but hate for the sake of hate changes nothing. DOGE, SHIB, and PEPE attracted people not only through the promise of financial gains, but also through stories, shared identity, and community culture. Beyond charts and multiples, there are always people, ideas, and collective growth. The real question isn’t who’s to blame, but what we can change. We need to move from an economy driven purely by speculation toward a model where financial incentives coexist with building and social value. Instead of simply criticizing the existing system, we need to consciously build the next one.
Kimchi, Pumpfun FUD, facts and ideas. A lot of people in the Pumpfun community, including those who have already left, are strongly criticizing Kimchi’s marketing and pointing out the platform’s problems. But these aren’t technical problems. They’re social problems: a lack of culture, education, and sustainable community development. And this is where I see enormous value in the current debate, because there is real truth behind these criticisms. From a technical perspective, Pumpfun is doing a great job. The platform works well, updates are frequent, customer support is responsive, and the app continues to evolve with new features and network integrations. The technical infrastructure is impressive. But the social problems are significant. Scams, rug pulls, and short-lived communities have become widespread. The industry is missing a culture of responsibility and, more importantly, education that goes beyond trading or gambling. We don’t need more education on how to speculate. We need education on how to build and develop communities - the most valuable asset in this entire ecosystem. That’s why I believe culture and community-building education should become Pumpfun’s flagship priorities, complementing the strong technical infrastructure they’ve already built. The next step isn’t just making it easier to launch tokens. It’s making it possible for people to build communities that last. @a1lon9 @Pumpfun @kimchi1x @blknoiz06

Kimchi came to pumpfun, and the pumpfun community - including people who have already left the trenches - is launching a massive wave of FUD against it. After reading through the discussions, I found a lot of reasonable arguments that point toward what I believe are the right solutions. 1. Stop chasing new users with flashy names and start working on retaining the people who are already here. Focus on providing real value to the existing community, the people who have already been through the hardships and crises. After all, @a1lon9 and the team are already integrating various reward systems for calls, and it looks like a referral program is also on the way. 2. What’s desperately missing is education - not about gambling, jeets, or simply making money by extracting liquidity, but about building and growing communities. Because community is the real value. People on @solana are getting tired of trading news and chasing short-lived hype. They want strong, long-term theses and thriving communities that can stand the test of time. We need education, mentorship, and real examples of how to build them.

It’s great to see @a1lon9 focusing on community education. This is one of the most valuable parts of building decentralized projects. Strong communities are not built through spam, aggressive promotion, or constant calls to buy a token. They are built through conversations, knowledge sharing, and a common understanding of what we are creating and why. In my opinion, systematic community development is key: Meta Talk, Narrative Building, and Soft Shilling. First, we discuss the market, share experiences, and explore global trends. Then, we build a shared narrative that helps people understand the project’s value and their role in it. Only after establishing that connection do we introduce the project naturally, inviting people to explore, participate, and form their own opinions. This is how organic growth happens. People join not just for a token, but for the idea, the culture, and the community. Over time, they become carriers of the narrative themselves, bringing in new participants and creating a system that can grow without constant direction from leaders. Thanks @Kaiz_294 for sharing the vibez.

Pumpfun started with roughly $100K, no paid influencers, and a team cold messaging users to convince them to try a marketplace nobody was trading on yet “Pumpfun is a marketplace” “It connects coin creators and buyers of coins” “When you create this marketplace, you face this cold start problem” “Getting them over to whatever it is that you're building is a major challenge” “You need to appeal to both sides of the coin” “We never paid any influencers. We didn't have the money to” “All we did was just cold message users and speak to them” @a1lon9 recalls the challenge of getting @Pumpfun off the ground when traders were already active on established exchanges and platforms. The team needed to attract both token creators and buyers, two groups whose participation depended heavily on each other. Buyers wanted coins with trading activity and excitement around them. Creators needed an audience willing to participate. Without either side, convincing the other to show up was difficult. He estimates the team had around $100,000 at the time, leaving little room for paid promotion or influencer campaigns. Instead, they spent their early days reaching out to potential users individually, starting conversations and trying to bring people onto the platform. Pumpfun's initial growth efforts were built around direct outreach and the challenge of getting a new marketplace active enough for people to want to use it.

We may be witnessing the birth of a new form of social organization, where religions, ideologies, and philosophical movements gain a digital dimension. The key question is whether these communities can build sustainable systems of values that survive speculative cycles and create real value for people. At TOKEN2049, @MustStopMurad already spoke about how crypto community’s could transform the way people engage with religion, ideology, and collective belief. What’s ur religion?
Where can I invest in religion?

I absolutely agree with Graham. People still associate Solana and DeFi directly with memecoins, and memecoins have largely turned into a form of gambling. Yes, memecoins once reached billion-dollar market caps, but today, this market has become pure gambling, with accountability approaching zero. However, Solana was never built specifically for memecoins. It was built as infrastructure for fast transactions, a new foundation for payment systems and transaction settlement. Like any other blockchain network, it has been put through a real-world stress test of its resilience by the waves of degen speculation and chaos. The era of on-chain gambling is fading, and things are beginning to fall into place. With the rise of tokenization, we will increasingly see companies and organizations transform the way social and financial systems operate, moving toward solutions that are more reliable, transparent, accessible, and, above all, secure. @grahamfergs @Securitize @carlosdomingo
Open access to gambling is not the same as open access to finance.

Launching your own token turns an idea, business, or community into an economic ecosystem. Blockchain creates new ways for people to participate, own tokens, exchange value, and contribute to a project’s growth. The real value of a token is not speculation - it’s infrastructure for growth. By combining tokenization, DeFi, community culture, and systematic development, we can build an economy that grows with its people, their contributions, and real utility.
It’s becoming increasingly difficult for people to transact in dollars and traditional fiat currencies. Everything is getting more expensive, slower, and increasingly inaccessible. The ways to create new fiat money are becoming more limited, while the global situation continues to deteriorate. Blockchain, tokens, and tokenization offer more than just faster transactions, greater transparency, and more efficient ways to exchange value. They create the opportunity for people and communities to issue their own units of value and build their own economic systems. That’s why tokenization and social tokens are attracting so much attention. They’re not just about money or technology - they’re about giving people new ways to create, exchange, and capture value together.

There is a major advantage for everyone who is firmly established in blockchain today - for those who are already here, those who are exploring the space, and those who see it as an opportunity for personal and professional growth. In my view, we are entering the biggest and potentially final major growth cycle of the crypto market, after which the global economy will increasingly transition toward blockchain infrastructure and digital money. Every project that continues to build, maintain activity, educate its community, and develop its ecosystem today will be positioned to benefit from the broader market expansion. The market itself will become a powerful tailwind - potentially a storm-force wind - for those who are already building, learning, and preparing for what comes next.
I also think we’ll see BTC at $90,000 soon, but here’s the question: did the girl in the photo even know what a bull flag was? Many people speculate about which coins will go up - these coins, those coins, or others. Understand this: all coins will rise. What matters is understanding how much they will rise and what value they have and bring to society. Value and price are two sides of the same coin.

Anomalies in the Matrix led me to ancient Vedic knowledge, where the cycles of material existence are measured in millions of years. According to Vedic cosmology, the four Yugas together span 4.32 million years. And within the final age, Kali Yuga, there is said to be a rare golden opening - a window of transformation through which souls may transcend their current dimensions of existence and transition into new ones.
