My son looked up at me during dinner.
"Dad, when are we done tokenizing?"
My fork clanked against my plate as it slipped out of my hand.
My wife and daughter fell silent.
"I just... There's so much to tokenize."
I took a deep breath. It's not his fault.
I pushed my chair back from the table, ready for a long discussion.
As I did, I saw a blur move outside the window.
I knew that form, that shape...
Falling over the children's toys, I slung open the door.
"Don't you EVER speak to my son again!"
I roared as the twisted mass of Gary Genselr bolted from the bushes and into the woods.
"Just come in! REGISTER!" he hissed as his silhouette megered with the misty woods.
I turned around to see my son standing in the doorway, tears in his eyes.
"He just... He made it sound impossible."
I knelt down, hugging the boy.
"I know, son... I know. But guess what?"
He smiled through his tears: "It's all coming onchain?"
"That's right son... That's right. And don't let any cryptids tell you otherwise."

This is great work by the SEC.
The narrowing of Friday’s guidance will bolster its durability, while guarding against attempts to misconstrue it by those that wish to circumvent securities laws.
Pragmatic and clear rules are all crypto needs to succeed, and the SEC just delivered again.
🚨NEW: The @SECGov just updated its crypto FAQ on token buybacks to add a stipulation that if there is no central party behind those token buybacks, then this arrangement likely does not constitute an investment contract.
It comes following comments from @a16zcrypto General Counsel and Head of Policy @milesjennings last week that the prior wording could “empower an issuer to announce the buyback program without that announcement then creating an investment contract.”

Every time you see one of these guys unconscious on the sidewalk or building a nest out of garbage, keep in mind that he will consume four or five times the economic resources you will this year.
