The protection of civilians is paramount.
The Laws of War establish clear rules to protect human life and respect humanitarian concerns.
Those laws cannot be contorted for the sake of expedience.

I am deeply concerned for the safety of our personnel and the women and girls they serve.

Palestine has been bleeding for so long. Never has silence sounded so loud. Violence and atrocities must come to an end.
Palestine is bleeding to death with the complicit silence of states obliged to look the other way. The world is well aware of the oppression and suffering of the Palestinian people... there's only one thing left to do: denounce it and put an end to it!

Ça y est: j'ai 70 ans depuis 5jrs. C quand même 1 jubilé de platine, donc 1 petite pause.
Je me laisse gagner par le poids du passé, le présent difficile & le futur inquiétant de #Haiti.
When I make it to 70 & friends tell me 70 is the new 50, I smile.
