When the game you're working on posts a teaser video with your music in it, but you can't share it because you haven't been announced as composer yet. 🤐😳😳😳

Stardusts! I have a @GivingTuesday request! Help me keep vulnerable women and girls in school in Sierra Leone through @EsthersEcho. Since founding Esther's Echo, we've helped over 600 women graduate in one of the most difficult places in the world to live

Our Canadian Klingon friends have been doing TREKtivism for years - even before there was a name for it - and helped inspire why we thought a whole initiative celebrating fan led social causes could work! See you at @TBayThunderCon !
The Klingons are returning to @TBayThunderCon! We have a lot planned this year, so check it out. We have a collaboration with @TREKtivism, a fundraiser for @ALSCanada in memory of @MrKenMitchell (link in comments), a bat'leth workshop, and even a drag performance!

Over the last 47 years, the fuel lines on my thrusters have become clogged with buildup. If they were to get completely blocked, it would affect my ability to point at Earth so I can communicate with my team.
Fortunately, they found a solution: go.nasa.gov/3z4EK70 -V1
Star Trek gave us a family - both fictional as well as chosen. On #startrekday we reshare our Star Trek Family featurette which includes our footage of Trek cast, fans, and writers all reflecting on chosen family as depicted in the series 🖖 youtu.be/0fodJx8ufp8?si=iCrj…

Star Trek has inspired us with a future where our rights were protected and our bodies and minds were healthy. A future where we could reach out into the stars, explore, connect, dream.
How has Star Trek inspired your TREKtivism!? Hailing Frequencies Open! #StarTrekDay

I was so excited to be invited by @cbcnewsbc to talk about the @UCBerkeley discovery of what could be OCEANS worth of water deep in the crust of Mars using data from @NASAInSight! Check out the interview at the link!

I was on radio for @CBCEarlyEdition talking about the Perseids! I'm normally pretty nervous for news interviews but this time I just decided to think of it as talking to a Planetarium audience and I had a lot of fun! #space #sciComm #PerseidMeteorShower

Wow! This is a saddening sight. We had the privilege of filming with @SETIInstitute at Hat Creek back in 2019. Earth needs to be our home for the foreseeable future - it cradles all the life we know of in the whole Universe. #climatechamge
A wildfire started in the hills northeast of Chico, California, USA. These photos, taken on July 25, 2024, show the smoke at the Allen Telescope Array in Hat Creek, California, USA. From our local staff:
ALT Five telescope dishes of the Allen Telescope Array are seen in their field. The sky in the background is orange due to smoke from the Park Fire.

Today would've been my grandfather's, Henry Dlugosz's, 98th. He died this past November. The moments of wonder I want others to have are inspired from him sharing them with me. It's because of him I look up. Thank you for introducing me to the stars. #space #scicomm #wonder
ALT My grandfather and I using the same telescope we did when I was very young to find Venus at this cottage. This is a still image taken from footage from the documentary film @chasingatlantis
ALT My grandfather and I with a print of the Andromeda Galaxy I took at the SFU Trottier Observatory. This is the first object I have a clear memory of my grandfather showing me in the sky

Wonderful to speak with you @howellspace. Really important for others that follow to know that the path isn’t always as obvious as we’d like. The journey is the most interesting part. 🚀🧑🏾🚀
Thanks so much to @JameelJanjua and @virgingalactic for talking to me about their recent flight to space!
(Jameel is a dual Canada-US national, which makes him the latest astronaut from my country!)
