Apple again rejected an update based on the same exact false flag based on the word Trezor. I am sorry but this is a sheer incompetence. Why is my responsibility every and each time to explain words in different languages? Super frustrating.

Waited for a review for a week only to be rejected on the reviewer’s inability to do a simple search They rejected the update because the metadata contains the word “trezor” which is the name of another popular app. However it actually is the word for Vault in various languages

The Opus 5.5 is really good at agentic coding and reasoning when it comes to coding.. But it SUUUUUCKS at Slovak language. Compared to even Sonnet 5, it is a huge downgrade in it's handling of Slovak output. @bcherny @karpathy

Full write-up is out. A Saudi government app with 10M+ installs shipped the Saudi National Bank's private key. The password protecting it was the digit "2". Fixed and rotated, so here's all of it.

Not fixing tech issues unless they have a significant enough impact on product quality. (Or productivity.) I love coding for coding's sake, so I struggle with this. The OGs here are just a lot better at letting crap like this go and spending time in higher value ways.

Discovered a new method for detecting if someone is using Incognito in Chrome: Write 512 tiny 1-byte responses into a scratch Cache API cache, then read: navigator.storage.estimate().usageDetails.caches Normal Chrome: ~393kb Incognito: ~85kb Why? When you're in incognito, Chrome writes to memory instead of disk, which leaves less metadata residue
