Aptos dominance continues!
With an average block time of just 37 ms over the past week, Aptos leads the L1 ranking shared by ChainSpect, producing blocks 167x faster than Kusama.
Block time is one part of the performance equation, and Aptos’s speed reflects the network’s focus on high-throughput execution and low-latency infrastructure. Its architecture, including parallel transaction execution, helps process multiple transactions efficiently, supporting responsive applications and a smoother on-chain experience.
Thank you, @Aptos team, for your work, your commitment to innovation, and your contribution to advancing the entire industry. 💙

Being fastest is wonderful. Being #1 in security and reliability is something we are more proud of. Enterprise use cases require all 3.
Fast apps start with fast blocks
Among L1s, the quickest chains produce blocks up to 167x faster than the slowest. Milliseconds versus seconds is a gap users feel every day.

Hedera transaction fees hit lowest levels...
@Hedera hit its lowest fee of the quarter, with an average execution fee of $0.00065 per transaction on October 17.
@chainspect_app data shows that executing 100,000 consecutive transactions in the enterprise space on the Hedera Hashgraph ledger costs around $65.
Hedera’s stable fee structure enables this cost efficiency, with fees pegged to fiat rather than secondary market price movements in $HBAR.

Algorand hits a new level of decentralization!
@Algorand reports 1,582 active consensus validators on October 17, setting a new quarterly high for the number of nodes in the network.
According to @chainspect_app data tracking, infrastructure distribution is growing within the protocol's Pure Proof-of-Stake structure.
Polkadot Seems To Be The Most Expensive Blockchain To Use
A comparative fee analysis by @chainspect_app indicates that processing 100,000 transactions on @Polkadot cost more than $1,000 over the past 7 days.
This puts Polkadot's basic consensus mechanism at the top for capital investment in Layer-1 blockchains.
Other high-performance blockchain networks and rollup systems clear similar transaction volumes at fractions of a cent per transaction.
Sui Blockchain (@SuiNetwork) remains the cheapest Layer 1, with 100K transactions costing $0.27.

NEWS: Polkadot’s on chain activity continues to show a striking disconnect from its market valuation. According to data from @chainspect_app, the network has generated only around $23 in daily on chain revenue over the past 30 days, with the Relay Chain processing roughly 1,400 transactions per day.
Despite a 96% decline from its 2021 peak market cap of $52 billion, $DOT still carries an estimated $2 billion valuation, highlighting the wide gap between protocol revenue and market capitalization.
Cardano just smashed its own TPS record.
According to data from @chainspect_app, the @Cardano blockchain today hit some 329 transactions per second.
The figure well outpaces its own previous record for scalability - juts 304 TPS recorded in late 2024.

JUST IN: Internet Computer is showing strong momentum, with monthly chain revenue surpassing $360,000, according to data from @chainspect_app .
The milestone highlights growing activity across @dfinity network as adoption continues to expand. Meanwhile, $ICP has processed more than 305 billion transactions, reinforcing its position as one of the leading blockchains for scalability.
The combination of rising revenue and massive transaction throughput could put Internet Computer firmly on investors’ radar.
