Nice piece from @brian_calloway on @MSU_WBasketball strength coach (and former Spartan star) Annalise Pickrel. This team has some dynamite young talent, and having a two-time Big Ten champ showing them the ropes bodes well for the future.

It’s a big day for me. I feel like maybe for more people than usual today? Still feels good! #queenbee #firsttimequeen @NYTimesWordplay
Yesterday, I was listing things my HS library required a paren note to look at, including @rollingstone and The Book of Lists. No one had heard of BofL. And now son of a gun if @PFTompkins isn’t talking about the BofL right now on @StayFHomekins. #synchronicity #top10sexpositions

This line of incredibly designed pasta boxes has bubbled up again in my feed, for good reason. Gorgeous and clever! Sometimes, thinking *inside* the box is the way to go.

Why are most children classified as creative geniuses, but few adults retain that ability? Fear of failure is a big part of it. Check out @karlgude's TEDx talk about lost creativity. Then, get curious!
My TEDx talk on your lost creativity has just come out! Relevant to everyone, but particularly to parents with young children. Please share!

Red Cedar Alchemy's Suzanne Levy has been making music on her own for decades. A few years ago, she posted on Nextdoor to see if anyone wanted to join her, and a band was born. bit.ly/RedCedarAlchemy
Sunday’s @nytimes included an interactive dive from @1000TimesYes and @alizauf into #Funkadelic’s “Maggot Brain,” looking at inspirations for and legacy of each of its 7 tracks. Interesting and fun! It includes a Spotify playlist of the 45 songs mentioned. nytimes.com/interactive/2021…

Got a shot today & after the injection the nurse told me to periodically massage my arm so the medicine “doesn’t just sit there” & I guess my big question is was I supposed to do that for every shot I’ve ever gotten or is my left upper arm the only part of me immune to anything
Catching up with Handmaid’s Tale. @AmandaBrugel’s Rita is my favorite character. Wry and real, a rare shot of humor in a claustrophobic, gloomy narrative. Makes me want to see what else Brugel is up to... looks like Kim’s Convenience is in my future.
Got excited listening to today’s @ComedyBangBang when talk turned to space treasure, and I knew @PFTompkins was moments away from a Salvage One reference. #matlockonthemoon
I was not aware of the Inauguration Day tradition of posting the price of gas on Facebook. Huh. GasBuddy is probably ready for today to be over.
Oh, and it’s like 2.19 or so here.

I'm so incredibly honored and humbled to be the first @SecondGentleman of the United States. As we countdown to Inauguration Day, I've been doing my homework—and looking to the past for inspiration.
