Yesterday, the project team from ResiRiver visited Stranooden GWS as part of their week long visit to @DkIT_ie @cfes_dkit. NbS stakeholders from Netherlands, France, Germany and Belgium was very impressed by the GWS’s source protection efforts and their environmental co-benefits.

The @EPAIreland and the Northern Ireland Environment Agency are teaming up to conduct joint lake sampling projects.
By combining expertise and resources, these collaborations aim to enhance lake health monitoring.
This week our #EPAEcologists joined the NIEA (Northern Ireland Environment Agency) lakes team on Lough Melvin to carry out a joint Macrophyte survey.
Data was collected along several transects to see what Macrophytes species are there and how far out in the lake they occur.
