Henrik Zetterberg missed out again on the Hockey Hall of Fame vote during his fifth year on the ballot. Patrice Bergeron, Cindy Curley, Carey Price, Pekka Rinne, Keith Tkachuk, and executive Brian Burke were elected on Monday. Zetterberg played 15 NHL seasons with the Red Wings.

I accidentally deleted the tweet above this one, but in June I had suggested the changes the mouth breathers wanted for the Leafs would turn us into a non-playoff team. This outcome was always predictable.

This season, we won 22 games by one goal. When you remove 102 points from the lineup and replace it with 75 points in the aggregate, don’t assume you are still a playoff team. Those could be 5, 10 or even 15 losses, which puts you out of the playoffs.

I didn’t care if we had Dubas, Keefe, Babs, Hunter or Jesus. I have only cared about the quality of the team. The guys who are so entrenched in their hate of our former GM or Coach have such a hard time admitting this is simply the worst this team has ever looked in the 34 era.

Will Laura and all her TDS suffering friends make her choice and cancel her beloved Carney for praising Gretzky too? "And so my last acknowledgement I want to make before I go into my 20 minute speech is of the ultimate winner in my lifetime, which is Wayne Gretzky, the great one."

Gretzky can stop with his excuses. He’s made his choice and Canadians see him.

There’s a 6’6 G you drafted in the first round in 2021 who’s leading the AHL in GAA (1.60) and has a .940+ SV%. Doesn’t even cost you anything to add him, just gotta make a little room. He turns 23 tomorrow, and tonight you just got sub .900 from 36 for the 9th time in 12 tries..

Well the argument is as follows. Bulk of his career was played in the lowest scoring era of the nhl. Faced two lockouts. A creative genius playing for Babcock who stifles creativity. Phenomenal on defence. Team player. No ego

As we pass the 3.5-hour mark of this 'decentralized' NHL draft ... Let's all vow to never do it like this again.
