Adopting React Native doesn’t have to mean rewriting your app. Darin Wilson explains how @Expo’s brownfield tooling lets you start with one screen, with React Native code inside your native project or packaged as a separate library. Read 👇 shift.infinite.red/you-dont-…

Infinite Red has specialized in React Native for 11 years -- building mobile apps on any platform. Now we're moving toward any software development -- building any type of software on any platform. With agentic coding, it no longer makes sense to narrowly focus on one technology stack. We can be effective across a variety of technologies, React Native being one of many. The things that remain the same: - we have great US-based devs, low turnover - we are kind, skilled, helpful, ambitious - we think holistically, not narrowly - we want to be the lowest-stress part of your project - we take our craft seriously - we value quality, rigor, and an engineering approach - we leave things better than we found them - we don't need to be babysat - we work within your systems and build for you - we have opinions, but we don't get stuck on them - we aren't afraid to have hard conversations - we love feedback and use that to to get better - we ask questions first and give opinions after I have so much confidence in my team. Becoming CEO of IR this year and being able to lead them is one of my greatest privileges. If you need help with any software project, please reach out. I want you to hold us to this standard I just laid out above, and I'm excited to work with you!

There's a bunch of nuance in Shopify's case that most people will miss, and React Native isn't going anywhere for quite a while, but that's a whole different discussion we can have another day. So, now is probably a good time to remind folks that Infinite Red can build native iOS and Android apps for you too. 😅 We care about building quality mobile apps first and foremost. And my team is absolutely outstanding, based in the US, and some of the kindest, smartest developers you'll ever meet. If this makes you want to switch to native, I have a team and agentic processes for you too. Been building it for a while now. Let's chat! jamon at infinite dot red or DM me.
