Very excited to publicly launch @roomote! I’ve spent the last year deeply immersed in cloud agents, and it’s become very clear to me that: 1) Everyone will be relying heavily on cloud agents soon (and hopefully closing their laptops all-the-way). 2) It’s critical to have the flexibility to use both closed weight and open weight models (including local models as they get easier to run), bring your existing subscriptions, run on your own infrastructure, etc. 3) As tempting as it can be to build a cloud agent framework yourself, I can vouch that it’s still very hard to do well while keeping up with how fast the industry is moving. So we built Roomote - a source-available, model-agnostic, self-hostable cloud agent platform. We think it’s the sweet spot between using a closed provider and committing to building and maintaining the system yourself. Would love any and all feedback! More 👇
