I've been studying this thing like a zapruder film all morning. There's no way they planned any of this. The chaotic sister energy is too real. If I'm wrong, CAA should have them all under contract by Monday.
Funny. When I sent my son to UCSC after the pandemic I had a really hard time getting a real live human being to talk to me. About anything.
As a baseball fan, I could listen to Barry anytime. Any day.
Barry Bonds reveals why Greg Maddux was the toughest pitcher he faced during his career
"The best, I think, technician pitcher was Greg Maddux. Maddux was the best technician."
"Greg Maddux knew the philosophy of hitting at the same time I understood philosophy of pitching. And Greg used it very well to his advantage."
"Power pitchers are power pitchers, they're going to go to what they go to no matter what, and that's power. And eventually, that's going to catch them, because you don't have to do much, they generate the power so the ball goes further."
"It's those finesse technicians that you that really can break things break you down if you're not smart."
when I watched the TV edit, that line was dubbed to "Let's all take a shower!'
CADDYSHACK is one of the greatest comedies ever, especially when you learn Ted Knight was genuinely annoyed with Rodney Dangerfield while making the movie. Knight would rehearse and memorize his lines to a T, while Dangerfield would improv and continue to come up with ad-libbed one-liners. Knight especially hated Rodney's "We're all gonna get laid" line he made up on the spot 😂
this is like the encryption scheme used on payphones in the Wire
Back in the '90s I dated a girl whose father used to work for Waffle House corporate.
He explained the system to me in detail and being that I ate there all the time, it was fascinating to watch it happen in real life.
And I'm not saying this to disparage Waffle House employees but this system was set up not only to be efficient but also to work well with the types of people who get jobs at Waffle House.
It's simple, effective, and results in very, very few mistakes.
It is quite ingenious.
Then the banks made laws so it has to be sold at "market price" so families and communities can't do this anymore.

I really enjoyed You Can See Everything and I love Nathan Fielder. Even so, there's really no getting around what an unethical travesty his Elizabeth Holmes documentary is. reason.com/2026/10/26/nathan…
Oh. Now I get it. The same author from Reason Magazine. Such a free thinker.

If he isn't the rest of us ate doubly fucked
99% smart/rich people are mostly lucky. Not talented.
I remember being in a small group meeting in SF at the Morgan Stanley TMT conference at the Palace about a decade ago when she was CEO of Yahoo. She was talking to us about the innovation and new products at Yahoo and nobody cared. Why? Well at the time YHOO’s stock valuation was like 80-90 pct based on the price of Alibaba (BABA) given their holding of the stock that had just gone public.
She asked us in the meeting why YHOO’s stock was so weak (BABAs stock was weak as China macro was showing signs of weakening). A single manager CIO/founder came clean and had to explain to her everybody in the meeting basically owned YHOO as a cheaper way to get long exposure to BABA. She literally didn’t know this / was surprised. I remember being shocked at her lack of self awareness of what YHOO was worth / what drove the stock. She kept talking about MAVENS during the meeting and none of us gave a fak what she was talking about xitter.cf/nypost/status/21147706…
Annie doesn't do cringe.
Yeah this is shitty, but this also says that these lawyers didn't protect their media. Should have been really easy to sue is ass into oblivion. But you didn't make Lance sight anything? Really????
I've been to South Africa and meeting the white South Africans always left me a little uneasy. Not unlike my time in Tel Aviv.
Everyone else was amazing.
