In today’s new diabetes complication: Anyone else ever had Diabetic Mastopathy? TLDR: it’s a breast lesion/lump/infection that is benign but clinically appears as cancer until full biopsy. Mine hurts like hell. Good times.

Colleagues, STOP using "poorly controlled #diabetes". It's diminishing & judgmental. State the A1C, describe duration of elevation & diabetes-related vasculopathy; if you must. Perhaps express compassion for someone that is dealing with a chronic condition as best they can.
