aggressive reminder that it's totally fine if you go to a concert and don't know the words to all the songs. it's fine if you found a band through tik tok. it's fine if you only know the popular songs. this weird elitism is preventing people from getting into music.

This is unacceptable @elonmusk - people are being put in danger because they can’t access our critical severe weather information. You are going to get people killed.
My area is under a tornado warning, and thanks to @elonmusk I can’t see what @IWeatherON is saying about the track
Loving being up in #Queensland again. Good to be back in the Sunshine State.
You gotta get your hands on this book. It's hands down one of my faves!

Hey #tree Twitter, need your help. Any idea what this tree is
Currently debating with hubby whether a 2001 Premacy is the same size as a Toyota Yaris. I'm swearing black and blue it isn't and he keeps insisting it is. Ah, #married life.

1) Thread for today: I am not going to opine on the Supreme Court's ruling except to tell a story about a late and valued friend. The story will suffice for the sum of my thoughts about affirmative action.
I was working at the student newspaper at the University of Maryland...

Hey @Uber, I'd love to have a word about the way you keep reducing your driver's pay percentages. Less than 50%?! Really?! This poor guy spent over an hour driving me to the airport at 4a and stood to make $20 off of the trip you charged me $60 for. And it's not just him. EVERY driver I've spoken to in the recent past has confirmed this downward trend in wages.
What are you doing to earn 50% of their pay? Running an app that tells them where to go? And giving more money to new drivers as an incentive while long-term employees fight and struggle to make less and less? Despicable. Try harder.
Well, I was going to do some #betareading but my brain has decided that ain't happening. After three days in the office, I'm way too tired.

I'm sorry if you've heard me tell this story before. Many of you will have seen me tweet it previously. But I just love it for what it is, and I make no apologies for that.
In primary school, when I was about 7, I met this young boy. A new kid in school. I'll call him Ben.

Seriously, just because it's made for kids does that mean prodigy is not amazing Star Trek. This story line could so easily be in any of the other series and it would fit just fine
