What if Omarchy could set up your whole workflow in one command? 📦
Bundles are packs for web dev, content creation, local AI, studying, gaming, or any subject you are passionate about. Each one installs the apps, plugins, AI skills, and project setup you need, and removes cleanly without touching anything you installed yourself.
Prototype + feedback welcome: github.com/omacom/omarchy/di…

AMD MAX 495+ aka Gorgon Halo isn’t a new chip. That’s the point.
+100 MHz clocks, +6.6% bandwidth, +64 GB memory. Only two of those matter for local AI. I broke down which ones, and what’s coming with Medusa Halo.
I've been trying to imagine new interfaces for how we interact with compute resources. We are so conditioned to use what we already have, which are devices that can be mass produced, that it's hard to break that mindset... But we must!
There's a whole world of productivity and freedom waiting for us builders to discover!
I'm building things for #Omarchy and this is my first foray into hardware that can help folks with disabilities or cognitive issues. Of course, this device's use cases reach far beyond that. Read part one of my experience with the #Waveshare device here tinyurl.com/8mnmbxua

Our Omarchy Linux group chat on X is so useful! There are all sorts of @Omarchy users in there, from newbies to experienced maintainers and contributors.
Because there are so many eyes, any problem is shallow. If you need something fixed, you can often talk to the maintainer directly!

Pleased to announce Omarchy Uber TV is live on Github. This is not yet published to Omarchy store, and can only be downloaded from this git repository. Please keep in mind this is yet very early beta version, and not perfect.

👋 What started as a weekly x space around @Omarchy has turned into a full blown community with hundreds of active members. I’d like to introduce you to the @SundayBuildClub. We meet right here on X Spaces every Sunday at 3pm ET and have a group chat to discuss what we’re building, support each other and share inspiration.

Develop thought to text. Dream journal. First few minutes after waking up or maybe dream me wants to leave a message for awake me. Instant notes for ideas, reminders of goals. If I can write, then I should also be able to read… firmware updates.

Since we started offering employee profit sharing in 2020, we've paid out over $24,000,000 to employees.
We've never offered stock options. Not a fan of future maybe money. We pay real cash to real people so they can spend it on real things right now.
When you choose to be our customer, you're making this possible. You're supporting an independent, fully customer-funded business that shares its success with the people who make it happen.
You don't need investors, stock options, or complicated cap tables to share your success. You can just share the profits. It really can be that simple.
If you're curious, this is how the profit sharing plan works:

We clearly aren’t releasing Omarchy major versions frequently enough when SpaceX and Tesla can manage multiple, monumental launches worth celebrating between releases! FULL THRUST AHEAD!

An update on my #waveshare device project for #Omarchy The Omachy companion I have shared previosuly, it enables you to use the Omarchy shortcuts from the tablet.
I have Just added My Place, this is a simple note taking feature that links directly with your Omarchy PC.
Then I have added a simple Dashboard that gives details of CPU/GPU temps and allows you to remotely adjust the volume on your PC. More to come!
Omarchy hosting it's own package repository combined with built in Risk and Vulnerability data, real-time scanning, and end user visibility... This can't come soon enough!
We were just talking with @calledtocnstrct about package vulnerabilities.
Set your reminder now! You won't want to miss this.

Hey @elonmusk @benjitaylor and everyone building X, would love to bend your ear about community tools.
We’ve built a community of builders and tinkerers who meet in Spaces every Sunday to share what we’re working on and help each other out. X is our common ground, and I’d love to keep it here instead of splintering off into Slack or Discord.
A few things that would make a big difference:
• Threads and breakout rooms in group chats
• An option to enable live text chat within Spaces
• Ability to enter and leave the space and not have it drop out for everyone
• Recurring Spaces with a weekly schedule and standing cohosts
• Grok-powered transcripts, summaries, and notes
• An easy way to feature our group chats and recurring Spaces on our profiles
The people and conversations are already here. Give us better tools to build community around them.
If you have enjoyed the Sunday X spaces that @NixFred and I have been hosting around @omarchy and building, then come hang with us in our new X Group Chat.

Used MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015), model A1398. Intel Core i7, 16 GB soldered RAM, Intel Iris Pro graphics. $100 on eBay.
Screen has a black line on the right side about 1 inch from top to bottom.
Omarchy Installed fast and it runs great.
I requested the agent to not consider the black part of the screen and basically resize the desktop and it made it possible. basically the broken screen does not affect the usage also when I connected an external display it shows that screen complete.
No other OS is capable of understanding that there is an area of the screen that is not usable but this is just amazing.
Thank you @dhh
