A lot of people look at @FIFAWorldCup tickets being issued and managed on @avax and ask, “Why does this need a blockchain?”
The answer isn’t because blockchain makes tickets magically better. It’s because blockchain solves problems that traditional systems struggle with.
Today, when tickets move through secondary markets, event organizers often lose visibility into who actually owns the ticket. They lose the ability to directly engage with fans. They lose valuable customer data. And in many cases, they lose participation in the economics of those transactions altogether.
Blockchain changes that.
Tickets become programmable digital assets. Ownership can be tracked. Transfers can be verified. Organizers can maintain a direct relationship with fans throughout the entire lifecycle of the ticket, not just at the initial sale.
For an event as large as the FIFA World Cup, that matters and it’s one of the many reasons you should be bullish on Avalanche.

Japan’s ~$1.6T government bond repo market is the next frontier for onchain finance.
Progmat, Japan’s largest tokenized securities platform and a dedicated Avalanche L1 builder, is leading this study on tokenized JGBs, stablecoin settlement, and onchain repo infrastructure for commercial use in Japan. 👇

A question every protocol foundation should be able to answer: how do you fund operations sustainably?
The Foundation has real operating costs: grants, infrastructure, ecosystem investments, team. We address this with a dedicated asset management function designed to generate durable revenue streams, so the ecosystem is supported long term, not just through the next cycle. Revenue share arrangements with ecosystem partners reinforce this further.
On the onchain analysis that circulates: not everything attributed to the Foundation is accurate and sending assets to an exchange is not the same as selling. For flows that are ours, they reflect operational rebalancing to maintain privacy on live positions and an active OpSec program. Anyone who has had their positions exposed and traded against understands why this is necessary.
This is standard practice for managing treasury and risk. The priority remains long-term sustainability of the ecosystem.
