The obsession of Stoke City with Nathan Jones is utterly bizarre.
Since they were relegated from the Premier League they have spent a decade in the Championship, and have failed to finish above 14th.
This is despite the fact that they have an estimated total spend during their latest stint in the Championship at a whopping £143 million on transfer fees.
Since Mark Hughes was sacked in 2018, they have been through 10 managers in just 8 years.... 10 professionals attempted and failed to turn the club around despite all that financial backing...
Then you combine it with the fact that your football club is located in Stoke... Got to be one of the most miserable existences.
Nathan Jones is their pantomime villain so they can all pretend for a brief period they are something else!
