So Kemi Badenoch wants to pay for new prison cells by cutting £1bn from culture, media and sport?
That means youth clubs, leisure centres, sports pitches, arts projects and music venues, places that give young people somewhere to go and learn teamwork and self discipline, all of that: gone.
That’s not tough on crime, that’s building a pipeline into the very prisons you're promising! And this from a party that added fewer than 500 prison places in a decade, and left communities like mine fighting to keep leisure centres open in the first place.
Disgraceful.
#BBCLauraK : Tories: pensions are too expensive, we can’t afford them. Disabled people are too expensive, we can’t afford them. Don’t have more children than you can afford on benefits, reintroduce two child cap. Earn over £100k? Hey, have free taxpayer funded childcare! 🙇♀️🙇♀️

Burnham’s really put his foot in it. He’s basically given an open invite for a forensic examination of absolutely everything he did as mayor. And people are looking. Nobody cared before.
When Abu Dhabi bought The Cheats in 2008, @andyburnham was Secretary of State for Culture, Media & Sport🤔
In 2016, 9 months before being elected (night)mayor of Mcr, Burnham refused to condemn UAE human rights abuses - as did his sidekick @LucyMPowell 🤔

Suella Braverman’s parents emigrated (they were horrible economic migrants not from a war zone she hates).
She went to Cambridge for free and didn’t collect £27k debt like everyone else. Scrounger.
She used the Erasmus scheme to study in France. Which she has blocked.

The mantra appears to be
Hard work = High salaries
And we will look after you
Childcare if you earn over £100k
Scrap inheritance tax
Meanwhile the poorest and disabled
Cut their money as they are not productive
Same old Tories
Is everyone getting the picture yet?
When you create billionaires they will only look after themselves - they don’t give a fuck about working Britons.

Billionaires who leave should be forced to settle up with HMRC and pay an exit tax on the way out.
We should also take back the UK property he owns through offshore accounts.
David Reueben has allegedly got non dom status meaning he opts out of lots of British Taxation and he also keeps a lot of his money off shore anyway.
He holds substantial UK properties through off shore companies avoiding UK taxation.
He has been linked to Russian and German dodgy money scandals and has donated millions to the Tories who destroyed this country.
He is leaving to Monaco? Good riddance!

Tories to hand free childcare to those earning more than £100,000, would cost £700m to the public purse.
Previously, they pledged cuts to universal credit, housing benefit, support for the long term unemployed.
Continuation of the war on less well-off.

🚨 Manchester City’s owners were handed what has been described as a “sweetheart” property deal by Manchester City Council. 🏗️
A 10-year agreement gave Sheikh Mansour’s Abu Dhabi United Group a “right of first refusal” on council-owned land being sold across large parts of east Manchester, effectively giving them first opportunity to secure potential developments.
The arrangement has raised fresh questions over the close relationship between Manchester authorities and Sheikh Mansour’s Abu Dhabi interests.

The Tories closed 23 prisons. You’d think Kuenssberg might mention that. Silence. She doesn’t want to jeopardise her £400k Robbie Gibb approved salary.

Watching Kemi Badenoch equate 'hard work' with high salaries. She so has her finger on the nation's pulse. Not.
Go talk to a hospital porter about hard work, lady; or a care worker; or someone who does three cleaning jobs a day to keep their family fed and warm.
