More room for your people. We’ve lifted the limit on how many communities you can create in Buzz. Start one for your team, your side project, or that thing you could talk about for hours.

Someone tell @Jason about @buzzdotxyz
Had to turn off CLAUDE TAG in SLACK... as a usage-based product, it was burning far too many tokens. Is there a better, more flat-rate solution inside Slack that anyone recommends? SLACKBOT doesn't work like an agent inside of Slack for some reason... and i just don't like giving my data to frontier labs. is there a hosted LLM / agent platform we can contain in SLACK yet or do i have to roll my own?

herdr is great, but running agents across multiple machines was challenging. Registering them as ACP agents in buzz.xyz has yet to be beat for my use cases.

Access is separated. My MacMini runs @buzzdotxyz , @MulticaAI and my personal Hermes agent. For a pilot, Robert runs on a Hetzner VPS and only gets the company context synced into his workspace. Teammates share selected Obsidian folders, while private areas stay isolated

Update: I’m thinking about how to bring our two designers into Hermes (@NousResearch). A big part of their work is building reusable image and video templates, with Remotion for the video side. They already have access to Robert, our shared agent in @buzzdotxyz & @MulticaAI. But for hands-on design work, I’m leaning toward giving both Hermes Desktop access to one shared design profile on a VPS, with the tools they need already set up. A full personal Hermes setup for each of them feels like overkill right now. This could be a simpler way to get them started with work they actually need to do.

@NousResearch Hermes Agent started as a tool I used myself. Then our dev picked it up, and I set it up for my co-founder too. He isn’t particularly technical, but seeing how much more he gets done with it made me think about what this could look like across the team. We also have Robert, our shared internal Hermes agent in @buzzdotxyz . Anyone on the team can ask him questions or give him work to do. He can pull context from calls, help with approvals, and create tasks in Multica. What makes him especially useful is the shared memory behind him: our knowledge in Obsidian, together with Hermes’ own memory. He has context beyond a single conversation. Now I’m considering onboarding our SaaS design team to Hermes as well. We already use AI in design, but giving the team their own agents would be a different step. I don’t know yet what that workflow should look like or where it’ll actually help. I want to share that process as we go: what we set up, what people actually use, and what doesn’t work.

Buzz is the most interesting agent infrastructure shipping right now. humans plus agents, building together, on infra you own. and the AI community is completely silent about it
🐝 Buzz Desktop v0.5.26 is here! This release brings more reliable conversations, better sidebar syncing, and new tools for relay operators. Your sidebar stays in sync. Fixed an issue where sections, sorting, starred items, and mutes could show outdated settings when opening Buzz on another device. Better handling of long conversations. Improved loading of replies and reactions in long threads, with better timeout handling when a query takes too long. A new relay admin console. Authorized operators and moderators can review reports and product feedback directly in Settings. Operators can also manage the operator and moderator roster. Smoother project approvals. Fixed channel-creation approvals for unlisted project home channels. A corrected setup link. The Grok Build setup guide now points to the right place. Under the hood, this release also adds relay support for channel artifacts and native encryption support for private-key backups. github.com/block/buzz/releas…

We embedded @goose_oss into our platform, connected the platform through MCP, and made it accessible from the web using ACP. What surprised me most was how little effort it took to turn this into a working agent orchestration platform. It works almost absurdly well. Goose being open source made it easy to learn from and adapt, and open projects like berd.xyz and @buzzdotxyz gave us even more ideas to borrow from. By building on top of these existing open-source projects instead of starting from scratch, we were able to put together a surprisingly capable orchestration platform with relatively little development effort.
