Lula vs. Bolsonaro: I was held in solitary confinement for 1,901 days for revealing the truth about the U.S. government's killings and espionage, including against Brazil and its industries. Out of power, Lula fought for my freedom. In power, Lula discussed my persecution with Pope Francis, who decided to meet with my family and offer help. After my release, Lula and I met in Rome to mourn the Holy Father's passing. Lula was kind to my children and asked for nothing in return. In contrast, Jair and Flávio Bolsonaro did nothing and said nothing. Yet without the ability to say no to Washington and Tel Aviv, there can be no domestic policy, only foreign instructions. Those orders are always the same: "Expand our theft of resources and wages, and keep your mouths shut about us murdering children." Sellouts will surrender everything in exchange for a cut, even their own tongues.

AI is being utilized to detect ad blockers. We are building the technology for compulsory consumption of advertisements. The golden age of advertisementless internet is in its final days I reckon…

Wake up. Every profession deemed white-collar, the middle class dream, is about to be decimated by AI, at a much faster pace than anticipated, with monstrous social consequences.

The lumpenization of the human subject is a consequence of mass illiteracy. The written word is the only stable referent to organize around— to organize around images is to organize around sentiments— & sentimental engineering is now a science of the state. The only reason the Bolsheviks & even Mao could exist is the dawn of mass literacy in their respective societies. There is a direct line in Mao’s case from Yan Yangchu & the YMCA’s “mass education movement” & the establishment of Communism. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Y._C._…

Guys I’m scared the takeoff is starting. I swear any one of the ~10 CVEs that dropped in the last 24 hours would’ve been “one of the worst in recent years” except a new one is dropping every hour

Very sad.
The number of people writing dissertations in the humanities has collapses, now the same thing is happening in the social sciences. I'd wager that we will see a similar trend in psychology and other fields before long. Cuts in funding, the tight academic job market, and AI are rapidly changing the university and cratering graduate programs.

To justify today’s data center buildout, AI would need to bring in about $3.5 trillion a year by 2032, per a new Brookings paper. That’s 8.8% of U.S. GDP, nearly as much as Americans spend on food (9.1%), and far more than on energy (5.1%).

Sure, Anthropic may have stolen all the world's intellectual property, destroyed the education system, incited mass layoffs among the corporate class, devalued all art and destroyed social trust but somehow they also managed to lose $80 billion in the first half of 2026

This is a bad sign, because people stop paying their car note last, for obvious reasons. Auto loan delinquencies going up mean people have tried everything else to get by first and are now at risk of losing their ride.
BREAKING: America’s $1.7 trillion auto loan market is headed for a crash, per Reuters. Auto loans are now one of the biggest sources of household debt, bigger than credit cards. And the strain is showing: 1 in 5 Americans is behind on at least one loan, the highest since 2010, and the average car on the road is now nearly 13 years old, a record.
