Being a golf course superintendent and not playing your own course is like being a chef and not eating the food you cook. How do you know if it’s good or not?

More people were shot and killed in America over Independence Day weekend than are killed by guns in Japan and the UK combined during an average year. It’s not video games, lack of prayer, or too many doors that caused that. It’s guns. It’s always guns.

PSA! Not sure if you guys know- but putting sunscreen or bug spray on while you’re standing on the green will kill the grass 😭 this is at my home club, the whole green is perfect except one spot. Bummer 🙁 spread the word!

IMHO, no outdoor or non-AC business should be operating noon-8pm both Sunday and Monday. We've never seen such an event and it's dangerous for the human body to be outside at 110 degrees for hours at a time. Core of "thermal low" is still over us 5pm Monday...likely around 110
