New research looking at how #robot companion animals may influence #communication, well-being, and social support in #relationships after a #TBI or #stroke
We are so pleased to announce that @bryanabend, @edwardschad, and @autumnedwards have been awarded the @CSCA_COM Federation Prize for research examining TBIs and robot pets. #hmc #wmu @WesternMichU @comwmu
Some of my new research (@DrErinBasinger @erin_wehrman) suggests that after #stroke couples experience a level of mutual influence that may impact perceptions of stress and connection. More research focused on caregiving partners is needed in this area.
