Where should we start

We import the amount of gas we need so it will displace the most expensive imported which will be long. We could displace all russian imports first with lower emissions s

Whats your plan for global emissions reductions

This by the way is the sort of graph you always get in a business.. a bad thing has been happening but don't worry itll come down as quick as it went up

Thats great we'll aim for carbon neutral (which by the way is not the same as net zero) by 2060

And it reduces emissions

The nuclear wrong path happened in the 70s/80s and was caused by the environmental movement

Well we need to make a decision. Bankruptcy g the country while we allow other countries to emit what they want isnt a solution..

Sorry which emergency are you talking about. Im talking g about the impact of emissions on our climate. Prices are tbh less important than that

So focus on nuclear, aircon, flood defences, water storage, gm and lab grown foods

I reluctantly think unless there is a committed pla. To reuc3 global emissions we should move focus to mitigation

Then we thought if the West and esp Europe went first we would provide leadership and the rest of the world would follow. We vastly over rate european leadership and the main lesson the row learned from Europe in the 21stc was dont do that

Nest we need to realise this is a global emissions problem. When we started to take emissions seriously in the early 00s we made 2 more mistakes. We decided because the West had been allowed emissions it was unfair not to let the developing world do the same. This was insanity

Well first we need to acknowledge the original sin which was the destruction of the nuclear industry in the 70s and 80s. That is why we are in this position. It would be good if those involved acknowledged that.

But this isn't more fossil fuels burned. We need to focus on the key emissions issues not performativ3 nonsense like this

Great so this decision will lower emissions. Thats it. Let's focus on the real issues

Were already burning the gas.. we just won't ferry it half way across the world.. facts and data matter. This is an emergency and won't be fixed by feel good posturing

Here we go. You know you sound like a climate sceptic instead of dealing with the issue lets nit pick some inane data point. What is the plan for Chinese emissions reductions. Why did we have all these pointless cop meetings and allow emissions explosion in China
