I’m so proud of the @bringingfire_ team for absolutely nailing our fourth and final GM101 session of #GenCon2023. I’ll post fully crunched numbers soon, but I can already say our workshop empirically improves GM confidence in their ability to run games. #SelfPromoSunday

This is a great guide to the only thing that passes for a standard in #TTRPGTech. Because of UVTT, @bringingfire_ can import maps, annotate them, and export that map *with* walls and light *and* the annotations to VTTs like @FoundryVTT. Standards RULE. loom.com/share/dc7826c293954…

@bringingfire_ wants allies. I want our platform to facilitate industry-wide improvements in:
1. Ease of use
2. Interoperability
3. Content portability
4. Remote/in-person agnosticism
5. The “TT” in “TTRPG”
6. Creators earning a living
7. Inclusivity
More on each…

It's time to talk molds! Every dice maker's most loved and loathed part of the entire process, ours are exceptionally complex. Take a look at our last update for the year where we do a huge deep dive into our designs and talk about our upcoming plans ⬇️

ALT 3D renders of eight dice mold pieces of varying colors lined up next to each other on a pale purple background. The mold pieces are rectangular shaped with cavities for half of a dice shape cut into each which fit together to make one complete mold. Molds displayed here are for inner and outer layers of d20, pipped d6, numbered d6, d4, and fudge dice. Rainbow Pixels logo with slogan Light Up Your game is above the molds.

I've interviewed 100s of GMs; most just use Docs, Word, Notes or MS One Note. Notion is better; Obsidian.md is powerful but markdown.
I think GMs deserve intuitive tools made just for them, so I'm building bringingfire.com/
