Viam’s Discord community member @FiberMoose was able to develop a telepresence robot named “Johnny” to keep him company in the office. Using Viam Rover as a base, a USB battery and a USB monitor, and Viam’s open source software he was easily able to configure his robot.

Becoming a GM involves a particular kind of learning called “social learning” – basically, learning to do what you see other people doing.

One of the first lessons we teach in our GM101 sessions is the “Describe, Listen, Judge” cycle. DLJ is a comprehensive framework for understanding what a GM does, and a tool that helps diagnose and correct hiccups and miscommunication at the level of play. Let's break them down🧵

I've set up 1Password to manage my GitHub ssh key and commit signing. This is pretty great. I do a commit, confirm on my watch and done.
@MyAniList I assume you handle bug reports in your discord, but for the moment neither the macOS nor the iOS discord clients are adding the MAL server when I follow the invite link, so apologies, I’m reporting here:
I love getting @paizo packages, but the packing material has always been styrofoam peanuts, which made me very sad.
This morning I was overjoyed to find Starfinder Enhanced packed in starch peanuts! Thanks for doing right by the planet, Paizo.
ALT A hardcover copy of Starfinder Enhanced by Paizo, standing upright a cardboard shipping box, with cardboard corner protectors in place on the book's corners. The bottom of the box is littered with starch packing peanuts, and a heart shape made from peanuts stuck together is leaning against the cover of the book.
"Attack on Titan Final Season THE FINAL CHAPTERS Special 2" comes out in November. Besides the title sounding like a Word doc an anime studio has been reply-all'ing around for a month... 1/2
...it also seems like the promo copywriter at anilist.co is beyond exhausted, writing only:
"The second half of the last part of the final season of Attack On Titan, concluding the ending arc story of Eren and the others."
(The promo text at MAL is more thorough.)
@NYCMayor @NYPDTrafficOps @TransAlt I was grazed by an e-bike rider on the pedestrian walkway of the Manhattan bridge this morning. Every damned day electric and *gas-powered* bikes are on that walkway. It’s just a matter of time before someone is seriously injured or killed.
#Starfield is for sure the least buggy game Bethesda has ever put out. I might not even rage quit this one.

The smart appliances we have today could easily be made, well, smarter. Excited to share a new blog series after a summer of hacking my home appliances with @ViamRobotics. Starting with this 🧵

Eat the Reich was one of my most challenging, interesting cultural consulting assignments ever, combining the complexities of vampire RPGs and intense historical topics. It’s not for everyone, but especially given my family history, it’s definitely for me. Please take a look.
The design thinking of the @helloMCDM team can best be described as "disruptive." The introduction of their game will be a #TTRPG revolution. youtu.be/0hR-lto4yro
